I wanted to replace two ceiling can lights with 2 pendant lights and add one more pendant light. The owner quoted 3 hours and minimal materials and said they do this kind of thing all the time. Although I thought 3 hours was excessive, I gave the job to them. Two men were here for 7 hours!!!!! This is for real!!!!!. Seven hours to install 3 lights. The owner took off two hours but charged me for 5 hours. I filed a complaint with MasterCard with pictures of the shabby work which I had to have redone. The covers were not flush with the ceiling!!!! There was a gap between the top of the cover and the ceiling. I should have known better.....I have heard from 3 other people that he charged more than he quoted. MasterCard said I didn't answer the questions and denied my claim. I sent 10 pages with explanations and pictures to MasterCard so I plan to revisit this. Totally unprofessional and the two men did not know what they were doing.

G S Moore Electric, LLC - AKA US Generator
We contacted US Generator for a quote and they came out immediately. The sales agent provided a well-organized sales pitch and we ordered our generator on 6/9/15. We were told it would take approx. 45-60 days to complete installation - because the ""City of Port St Lucie"" takes forever to issue permits. Ever since we have had nothing but delays, excuses, poor customer service and no follow up. I even had to call the city permit dept for status because US Generator couldn't give us timeframe answers and we needed to plan schedules.
We were also told our generator could be placed in a certain spot, which when the delivery team arrived, we were told it wouldn't pass inspection. We denied delivery and were re-considering the placement that would look aesthetically pleasing. In the meantime (while we went out of town for a holiday weekend), we come home to find that the propane tank hole was dug and placed in the ground. They did not communicate with the propane company about the issues. Us Generator then tried to charge us more for moving the location to one that would pass, which was a location we already had told them was not acceptable to us. We informed them it was their error, they should know a location will pass when selling us on their generator because they are the ""experts"". Since the propane tank was in place and filled, we felt at this point we had to move forward and succumb to their placement modification (without the extra charge for their error).
Today is 1/18/2016 - 32 weeks later and they finally finished installation. On our final bill, they included an additional $250 ""inspection fee"" trying to make up for a transfer switch they included in our quote as ""free"". I did not pay the extra $250, nor will I. It was a BS charge and verging on extortion. We will wait to see the response of the owner. All in all, we paid $8,335 for a 16,000KW, with a 200amp transfer switch. My advice - go to home depot $3,727 + install and you will save thousands. Their explanation of why US Generators are better - the units come straight from the manufacturer and it will be the newest model, not one that has sat on a shelf at HD.
What a completely frustrating experience!
