My better half wouldn't stop begging for a walk in closet. I kept telling him that the cost would be too great and exceed our current budget. He forced me to call Jeff and I am thankful for doing so. Jeff and his team designed a low budget walk in closet, he came in just under budget, no extra BS, him and his team worked effectively and efficiently, kept their work area neat and even brought treats for our two dogs. I would highly recommend them. He is currently scheduled to build a wooden closet with travertine floor for my parents. I am super excited to see the finished project.

Responsive, Polite, Fair priced Craftsmen with Excellent Follow-up explains Jeff, Demitri, Lisa and the rest of the guys at Grunt Work Handyman. Don't let their name fool you either. These guys are LICENSED Contractors and they can do it all.. big or small. They did a remodel for me recently and did everything with absolute precision, all while keeping me informed throughout the process. They even have a professional painter that they work with who has his own crew, that was able to take on my paint job with short notice.. and he did an amazing job too. If you need a General Contractor or professional quality handyman work done, don't look past these guys. You will be happy you call Grunt Works!

I had a an excellent experience working with Jeff and Lisa and the rest of the Grunt Works crew as we got the new Status Skateshop location ready for business. The initial response was quick and our the scheduled walkthrough was just what I needed. I appreciated that they understood what I was aiming for and shared better ideas than my own for getting there.

Work started on time and the crew was always thoughtful and professional throughout. We had a few extra items come up along the way and they were able to accommodate the adjustments. Everything wrapped up in time, under budget and beyond expectations.

I had a smaller project pop up a week later and the first place I called was Grunt Works. I'm confident I'll continue to call on these guys when new projects arise. Highly Recommended.

Zero response from these guys. I was very happy to see the reviews here as well as the images of work performed. They looked like they may be a great find for the work we needed done. I spoke with someone in their office, described the project in detail, submitted the details of the project via email provided and was told I would have a response within a day or two. 1 week later I followed up with a phone call and was assured I would hear back soon.
It has been 18 days and all I can hear are crickets

Grunt Works did an awesome job with our long list of updates we needed implemented on our new house we just purchased in Oceanside. Items included everything from TV Mounting, wall doggy door, RING Floodlight, door replacements, etc. Jeff, Mark and Demetri were highly skilled in all areas, respectful, honest, on time, provided quality work and stayed until the job was finished. I also appreciated they communicated throughout the day on any issues that arose and they even helped us with a few quick items at the end that weren't on our original list. In my experience it's hard to come by handymen that show up, do the job right for a fair price while being up front from the beginning too. We'd rather pay a little more to get the job done right the first time! We were pleased with Grunt Works Handyman and Lisa as well who was super responsive throughout the entire quote/scheduling process and answering all my questions. I'd definitely recommend this team.

We needed to have our laundry room cabinet cut down to accommodate adding pedestals to our washer and dryer. We received a quick response from Grunt Works and they were able to do the job right away. The installers were very knowledgable and did a great job.

Grunt Works was the only handyman willing and able to come and help me with an emergency broken window that needed to be fixed right away to secure a rental property. They completed the repair as promised when others were unwilling to even come and look at it. I had them back for several maintenance-type projects and they were able to really do it all, on time, excellent work, and for a fair price. Grunt works handyman is the best. I messaged them super late at night and they were at my business the next morning at 10am hanging cabinets, hanging slat walls and patching holes I completely botched. The gentleman who helped me was smart about his work and I appreciated that. I've always used a handyman service in the past that is one guy running the entire show and it's always a disaster getting something scheduled. I will be sticking with grunt handyman service from here on out because they do the job right, the price is fair and they are a small company with more than 1 worker, which makes scheduling a lot easier. Jeff at Grunt Works did a great job on my project. I previously hired a handyman who horribly botched a siding repair on my house. Jeff removed the previous junky work and repaired the siding beautifully. It was a tricky job, but Jeff made it happen and now I can relax knowing the siding will not leak or become a problem down the road. Jeff is my go-to guy moving forward!

Jeff did a great job repairing some dry wall on my home. The job required two patches, about the size of a softball and texture to match the existing interior wall surface. He was thorough in his work, polite and took the extra time to clean up the debris and put items back so the area looked neat and complete.
