This company is fantastic! I put in a call at 9:30in the morning, they were to my house by 9:45and had my problems fixed and paid for by 10:05. I needed a breaker replaced as well as a GFCI outlet replaced. The service was fast, friendly and reasonably priced. The most impressed I have ever been with a home service provider!

I ran into an electrical problem this morning as part of my pool renovation project and called Groves for an estimate. Not only did they come out only a few hours later, but they also had the problem fixed the same day. They scheduled my visit, arrived exactly on time. Spent about an hour checking out the problem, including a trip to the attic. Everything was done very professionally. AND the price, I thought, was completely reasonable.

After finding out my new home did not have any cable outlets or wiring, I did some online searching and I got in contact with Grooves Electric. I couldn't have made a better decision. Mr. Groves came over and gave me a quote shortly after. The crew that did the job went above and beyond to make my place functional while maintaining an appealing look. Mr. Groves and his crew are very knowledgeable and helpful. While performing the job they even fixed things that were out of scope from my original quote just to make things right. I couldn't be happier with the work done and their kindness. If you need electrical work done, call these guys! You won't be disappointed! They are the best.

I spoke to Chris Groves, the owner of the company, of my need for a heavy duty outlet that can handle the load of my entertainment system in my closet. The devices that needed to be supported include two receivers, one amplifier, a video switch, two cable set top boxes, one blu ray player, an apple TV, two video game consoles, and a desktop computer. I explained to Chris that my problem with the system was that when the bulk of the devices were powered on I would frequently trip the circuit breaker and require to turn one or more devices off.

Chris informed me that the best solution for my problem would be to run a new wire from my electrical panel into a 4plex circuit with two separate 20A load carrying capacities for a total of 40A total.

The electricians from Groves Electric arrived on time Saturday afternoon and performed an excellent job with running the wire and installing the circuit. They were very professional, neat, organized, and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving my house.

I no longer have the problem of tripping the circuit breaker when the bulk of my entertainment system is in use. The circuit that they installed has exceeded my expectations given the power load that my entertainment system requires. I would definitely recommend Chris Groves and Groves Electric to perform work on my house again. They are very helpful, courteous, and professional and are deserving of the service awards they have received on Angie's List. Overall, I give them an A+ for installation and service.

Yesterday at 12:00pm , our entire breaker panel went out. We called a couple of electrician and basicly it was like talking to a robotic system, the person on the other side of the line didn't wan to hear my problem they just waned to start their mesmerized script...""Our service call will be X amount of dollars, then..ya, ya ya, "". Please give me a second to tell you what's going on before you go into a 5 min speech! Then we we called Groves Electric. Chris (the owner) answered my called, he asked immediately what problem are you having right now? Then gave me the time to explain our situation... Our complete electrical panel is out. We need some one over as soon as you can. Chris said they'll be there between 12:30 & 2:00. About 12:40, a knock at the door, and our Heros arrived! We went out to the breaker box, they were pullied a breaker out, and even I knew...this wasn't good. The planel was burnt all behind the breakers, and some were melted in that they couldn't even pull them out. John, who was on the crew said, you need a new breaker panel. John, called Chris, sent pictiures and I was immediately given a price to fix it. The price was excellent for the job they were looking at. It was about 1:15, I gave them OK to start the work, John told me were going to be here a while maybe until 8:00pm. My only question was when will my electric come back on?? I was told about 6:00pm. They went to work right away. They were a two man crew. Within 45 mins another crew of 2 men showed up and they were working diligently as a team, the electric was on at 3:30. And they finished the complete job at 4:00pm! They worked amazingly as a team, all the while being thorough and diligent as they went along. Our usual electrician just retired and as told the crew yesterday and Chris later on the phone, ""your our new electricians!"". We live here in South Tampa and will highly recommend Groves Electric to all our friends and neighbors! They get a 5 star rating from us and we highly recommend them to all of you looking for a prompt, efficient, fairly priced electrician who is extremely reliable!! Thank you to crew that were out here yesterday!! You gentleman were amazing. Thank you Chris for taiing care of us so quickly and taken that extra step that makes all the difference! Very much appreciated!

Always a silver lining to those unexpected and ill timed dark clouds and Groves Electric sure proved to be a huge silver lining today! Spent last two nights doing everything I could find on Youtube to quiet my chirping/beeping/SCREAMING smoke alarms...nada. Finally admitting defeat, I called Groves Electric before they opened, on a Friday, desperately seeking help. Chris Groves answered right away, listened patiently to my tale, provided an estimate and added me to his already booked schedule so i could get a good nights' sleep! He furthered my confidence by advising which alarms i could buy (to save on costs) and where i could find them. He arrived at the early end of the hour time window he gave me, started to work right away and installed my new and delightfully quiet alarms in no time. He was careful to ensure everything worked, checked the attic to make certain no hidden alarms would bother me, and then walked me through what to do if the alarms went off, unprovoked, again. In these days when ""too good to be true"" does not exist, Chris Groves and Groves Electric does! Highly recommended for residential electric work. Professional, courteous, and honest!
