Punctual, friendly and efficient. I contacted Juan at Ground Up and he had a next day appoint available. We had one room with no power, but other rooms on same circuit were working.

We had a different electrician show after 2 missed appointments, then didnt have the proper tools with him at the time.

We got in touch with Juan through Yelp. He showed up on time, was friendly and quickly accessed the problem and had it fixed in no time at all. I found my ""go-to"" electrician!

I wanted three televisions mounted in my house. I also wanted the cords hidden. He hid the cords in the wall and it came out great! We worked out a time to get it all done. He did an amazing job. It was fast and easy. Definitely worth the cost of installation!

Juan responded to my inquiry immediately, even though it was early, and set up an appointment first thing. He texted me advising he would be 5 minutes late and arrived promptly. He had requested photos and information before arriving and quickly identified the issue when he arrived. He provided three potential solutions along with pricing for each. I chose the least expensive option and hoped for a miracle. It worked. The ending cost was way less than it could have been. Juan was great. I will definitely reach out to him again if needed.

I used Ground Up Lighting to install a EV wall charger at our home. Scheduling an appointment was easy with Juan and he showed up and completed the install in about 1.5hrs. He needs to be transparent with customers as he can't even legally pull permits! And you need permits for most things .

Unfortunately, I have to leave this company a very sub-par review. We originally had scheduled for work to be done on July 4th. However, I texted this to the owner with plenty of notice explaining that because it was a holiday I was going to have additional family over and that I would contact him to reschedule. He replied, ""no worries"" and to let him know when I was ready.

I contacted Juan, (the owner) about a week ago and explained that my house was being painted and it would be completed the last week of September and that I would then be ready to have my outdoor cameras installed. This made sense as the painters would not have to take down and reconnect the cameras.

Juan then said that he would require a $200.00 deposit to come out and secure the date!!! I was floored as that was never part of our original agreement. He claimed that because I cancelled July 4th, that he required the $200.00 deposit. I only know this company from Yelp. This man has never been to my home or met me. Yet he wanted me to just send him $200.00 site unseen.

I am very disappointed to say the least. I was really counting on him to do the job and he came up with this demand out of nowhere. To state it plainly, the man went back on his word.

Truthfully I was going to give hime 1 star but I gave him 2 because his work may be good. I don't know? I just know he is completely unreasonable and lost a good customer that had cash in hand.
