Hired Ground Up Electric to test and replace wall outlets as needed in our 42 year old house. After many years, wall outlets may not secure electric cords as well as they once did. One outlet even sparked occasionally when a cord was removed. Matt purchased matching outlets, tested all outlets and replaced five. He also replaced our doorbell. Cost of service was $285 including parts and two hours of labor, which I thought was quite reasonable. This is the second time we have hired this company. Mario and Matt installed garage lighting for us three years ago and did a great job.

If your in need of electrical work, look no further than Ground Up Electric. I had a rather difficult dual chandelier installation. Had been told from two other electricians that it would be difficult and costly to install. Thankfully I searched Nextdoor and found Ground Up Electric was highly recommended. Mario and Matt arrived with masks on and we're able to install my dual pendant chandeliers in no time. There price was half of what the other companies were quoting me. This review is 3 months delayed, but I wanted to make sure that I took the time to write Ground Up Electric a positive review, because they deserve it. I recently had some remodeling done and the general contractor did horrible electrical work, and so I took matters into my own hand to find a licensed electrician. I called a few places to get an estimate, and Mario stood out buy his professionalism, knowledge, his willing to work with your schedule and non judgmental attitude even after he saw what my GM had done. Mario was upfront about his estimate and gave me a vert detailed breakdown of his estimate, he listened to what I wanted done and provided valuable recommendations. They were able to schedule me within reasonable amount of wait time to come and do the work. The day of the work, Mario showed up with Matt the day of the work, and both were absolutely professional, hard working to get the work done. After spending a very long day working on my project, they even offered to help my husband reinstall the wall oven unit because I was useless in helping my husband. I was so impressed with Mario and Matt's work that I had them quote me additional projects and they will be returning for some more work once the stay at home order from the COVID-19 pandemic is lifted. Thank you Ground Up Electric for all the work done. We are beyond satisfied and have already recommended Ground Up Electric to anyone who is looking for a licensed electrician.

We needed to install two overhead lights in our garage and provide power. Also needed to connect an existing extension cord to a multiple outlet box on the workbench. I sent a description of the job to five electricians on Angie's List. Three never responded, but two did. Mario at Ground Up Electric was the only electrician who stopped by to survey the job. We discussed the options and he offered to do the job at a fair price. Mario was also very responsive in all our communications. We are very satisfied with the work and can highly recommend his company.

So happy with Mario and Matt's work on installing 4 can lights in my living room. They even went the extra mile to remove a fan box and rewire it. They were very professional, on time, really fast and cleaned up! When getting an estimate Mario was really prompt at responding and was able to schedule quickly.
