I've used many electricians in the past and found Gregory Electric to be outstanding. Andrew was quick to email and provide details to me regarding options for the whole house fans available and the pros and cons.During his visit he arrived early, inspected the area, and gave me the finer details of the job. I received several quotes but Andrew did the best job reviewing the product and even saved us some money.

On installation day he arrived at the time I designated 7:15 am and exceed my expectations in the installation of our new whole house fan. The installation went quickly and he reviewed options on the intake placement in the hallway, relocated a smoke detector, and installed the switches.

The QuietCool approved installers list provided me Gregory Electric's phone number. I have been searching for a good electrician so rather than go with a large company, I opted for an independent I could rely on for future jobs. His fan price installed was very reasonable compared to other quotes. The job went very smoothly and timely. I appreciate how quick Andrew is in responding to phone calls. We had 3 or 4 phone conversations prior to his doing the work. I was super pleased with his positioning the motion sensor light (which I purchased from Home Depot) hard-wiring it exactly where I wanted it in a tricky corner beneath the fascia with just a wee bit of conduit showing. His idea of fishing the wire through the attic saved from having to put a junction box on the wall as proposed by another company at a higher cost. I real nice unexpected bonus was he and his assistant exchanged two exterior decorative light fixtures for new ones I purchased at Lowe's; he didn't charge me any labor although I was willing to pay him. The QuietCool fan runs like a dream and I can hardly hear it when it's running. He showed up right on time and kept the job site clean and organized. I am very happy I found Andrew as my go to guy for any future electrical jobs!

I found out about Gregory Electric through QuietCool's website. This company was listed as one of the certified installers. I called him and I couldn't believe the quality of service I received. There are several things that stood out to me regarding Andrew's service. Now, I normally do not write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to because Andrew's service, communication and quality of service was exceptional! :)

1. Communication. I value someone that communicates clearly, and follows up on phone calls. I left a voicemail when I contacted him and he contacted me back shortly. We settled on a date for him to install the quietcool I purchased on Amazon.com and a few days later, he called me to let me know that he could get a better deal for the quietcool (because there are better quietcool models that contractors are able to get, and consumers are not able to buy). All in all, I appreciated him communicating with me, and after calculating the costs, he saved me $200-300 since I bought the quietcool through him and it was a far superior model with better warranty!

2. Honesty. I appreciated how when he was telling me about the quietcool models that were available to him, he didn't try to push the most expensive model on me. I called other companies listed on yelp, and one particular company kept on pushing the most expensive model on me... stating that it's not worth getting the other ones because it would not be worth the energy savings and it would be the same as turning on the AC (He was wrong because I calculated the wattage that a classic quietcool uses vs. an AC unit). He gave me honest feedback about the pros and cons of the Trident vs. the Stealth Pro models.

3. Quality. Andrew arrived 10 minutes before his scheduled time. I appreciate someone showing up on time - I think it speaks a lot regarding their care for the customer's time. He was also very customer-minded; he and his coworker wore shoe covers while they were walking around my carpet. They went in and out of the house probably over 10 times, and every time, they would take off their cover when they went outside, and they would put the shoe cover back on as they entered into the home. The work they did was great, and they were able to do finish the project in less than 3 hours (other contractors said that it would take a whole day, or at least 5-7 hours). I also asked him to help me look at one of our light fixtures which recently went out, and he fixed it for me in 10 minutes, and didn't charge me anything!!!

4. Price. Andrew's pricing was better than 4 other yelp businesses that I called. I was satisfied with his price, and he saved me $200-$300 by offering to purchase the contractor-level quietcool models (they have a longer warranty, more airflow capacity, and less energy).

I would not hesitate to use these guys again!

I called last Monday to set up an appointment for estimate on having whole house fan installed and spoke with Andrew. He told me he would call me back in 15 minutes. After an hour went by I called back and he gave me an estimate over the phone and set up an appointment to come on Wednesday. He did not show up and did not call to tell me he was not going to be able to make the appointment. Was very disappointed and they have lost a job because of this.
