Our kitchen and living room had been smelling like hot electrical for the last one and a half days. At 7 AM on a Saturday I decided I should probably have someone come out and check on the status of our wiring. Our house is old, and the wiring has not been addressed in some time.


I put out a call for service through Yelp, and within 15 minutes I got a response from Mike. He came over in his pick up truck to our ranch property within an hour. He tested all of our outlets and even went under the house to see what might be causing any issues. Ruling out a fire in the wall was my main concern and he was able to put my mind at ease.

Came same day to give me a quote. They were able to complete the work a week later. They sent two men to complete the work. The owner followed up later to confirm everything was fine. I thought it was until I moved the appliance in position and realized they install the wrong 220 outlet.

Updating because I sent multiple texts and a message to owner because it turns out they didn't install the correct 220 outlet despite looking at the appliance plug. They didn't return any calls or tests despite the number working fine previously. I messaged them via Yelp and even offered to give more work when they came to fix the outlet they installed incorrectly however he responded that he was booked and could not help

On a Sunday night at 5:30pm our main 200amp breaker failed...did a quick yelp search and sent out a request for help to get it repaired ASAP. Mike responded to the message and was at our house within 30 minutes (on a Sunday!!) to check out the issue. The next day we was able to find a replacement breaker and came out that night around 6pm to do the repair. His quick response, fair pricing and willing to take the time to explain the issue (and our mess of an electrical system in the 95033) was awesome! Going forward i have no doubts on who to use for any electrical work.

I made a number of request for quotes for wiring and installation of a flush mount light and a ceiling fan in two of our bedrooms and Mike was the first to respond. I had never used Yelp to find a service provider but it worked out great. We were having issues with outlets not working and I needed help. I had the option to ask for bids from 4 providers. Mike responded in 10 minutes with a quote! The other providers responded but wanted me to call them to discuss. The fact that Mike was located in Los Gatos surprised me - as I am in Livermore, but we texted and he had another appointment the next day in Pleasanton so it was perfect! He responded quickly to my texts and gave me a window to come and see us the next day. He was right on time - quickly diagnosed the issues - made the necessary corrections and we were back in business! I would definitely call him again for any issues!

Mike is the one of the best electrician in Bay area. He was simply awesome. Best buy guys installed a new dryer on a Saturday evening and they connected the neutral to one of the hot wires, causing electricity in entire house to be down. Mike was quick and efficient, he came in within 45 mins and fixed the connection issue to restore electricity in 30 mins. His rates are also very reasonable.

I asked 4 electrical places for a quick quote on Yelp for a 240V socket installed to charge my EV. He told me the ""starting"" price and it was better than anyone else in the surrounding area. Most of them won't even give a number, not even a starting price. I was impressed slightly then so I continued the process with Mike. He came out to look at my place to give me the actual quote the next morning. The number was acceptable and on par with the cheaper electricians in the area. I like efficient people who doesn't procrastinate so the positive impression continued. I got a e-signature request on email later that day. And within a week my 240V 14-50 socket was installed and worked as promised. Now I just have to wait for the city inspection. Overall it was a painless process.
