Eric finally showed up 3 days late. He proceeded to to tell me that a 15 minute job that involved simply replacing 4-6 20 amp breaker switches would cost somewhere around $600!!!
I asked his labor rate, and he stated that they only had ""job"" prices. I'm sure the gated community In which I live made Eric think he could rob me blind. The switches cost $8 new. Needless to say, I had some spare switches in my garage and was able to fix it myself in 15 minutes. Eric's attitude SUCKED. Very unprofessional. These crooks will be reported to the BBB.

Very unprofessional!!! I started a big job in my home. Ran out of time and needed some help. Eric was sent out. He stated that I had most of the hard work done but since he was licensed I probably could not afford him. How insulting that was. He had no personality at all and was very argumentative. I would think after 28 years in the business he would understand customer service. He was very over priced. Payed it cuz I needed it done asap. Not to mention, he never reviewed the contract to make sure he completed the work and left out a switch. I recommend staying away from their services.

I was connected through Green Electric Solutions via Thumbtack and they were extremely responsive to my need for immediate service. We had an issue that was a safety concern, identified on a Friday evening, so of course we were concerned about promptness. They offered to come out that evening, but we scheduled them for the following morning and Curtis, the electrician assigned to our job arrived on time and was extremely courteous and explanatory about the issues we were having. We had a different electrician out for a problem with the same root cause and they were unable to locate the problem. Curtis was able to isolate the issue and repair the problem in a short period of time.

While I wasn't thrilled with the cost of the work involved (minor parts and maybe an hour of labor) and think it was a bit steep, I appreciate significantly that someone reliable came out that could solve the issue in one visit and on the first visit.

Unfortunately in today's day in age you get what you pay for.

The one star ding was for their pricing.

I placed an ad on Thumbtack and Green Electric Solutions responded. I gave them a call and set an appointment between 10-12 on Wednesday (9/7/16). I get a call from one of their employee stating that he will be late (4pm). 4pm came around and I haven't heard from the guy so I called him. He told me he forgot! that this is not how he treats his customer, but it's been such a busy day, so it slipped his mind. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for today (Saturday, 9/10/16) at 9am. He told him he would call in the office to even book the appointment right away. So I get a phone call at 8:10am from same employee saying that he can't make it because he's so backed up right now and that he'll come down at 1pm.... Seriously? Then why even bother making an appointment at 9 in the first place? Unprofessional, you're a business, so please stick to your words. I get that you're busy and there's a high demand, but getting canceled or rescheduled 2x? Not impressed at all.

so i initially received green electric solutions number from a friend of mine who had great things to say well make a long story short i read a few reviews and was very hesitant but trusting my friend i went ahead and called anyways. i explained to them the situation that my electricity kept going out and i had to constantly reset a breaker in my outer garage area, they told me that was a common issue in older homes in my area that had 2 stories or more. so i set an appointment for the following day and was given a time frame to expect the technician needless to say he was right on time and very courteous a little shy about my dogs (i have 2 big female dogs) but he did fine made his way outside and took awhile not sure what he did but it is totally fixed now and i can use my blow dryer flat iron and coffee machine all at once when before it would over load or something and just blow out. i was told all my appliances and electrical outlets were on the same wall and used the same breaker i have no idea how he fixed it but somehow its all solved now took him maybe 2 hours and cost me a lot less than i thought a total of 239.00 including labor, parts, etc. overall i am extremely happy and would recommend them. and btw technician name was Rene another reason why i was hesitant lol but all was well and he exceeded my expectations!!!!!

Field supervisor Rene Sussman came out to give us a quote on a minor electrical issue. He was rude and unprofessional but that is not the worst of it. While my wife was waiting for a quote he changed a light bulb in the bathroom and then wanted to charge $120 for that service. My wife was upset so she called me to solve the issue. Rene Sussman told me he wanted to fix original problem for $450. I said no and to take his 120 check and leave. He called me back and said he would fix it all for 200 and my wife was beyond concerned and uncomfortable at this point. I said ok. His fix was to press the reset on the GFI outlet in the garage. He worked a total of about 5 minutes, then he billed for 300. We paid to get him out of the house. Avoid this company and I will be filing a complaint against their contractors license. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

THIS COMPANY SUCKS!! We had a flood throughout our kitchen. We booked an electrician to check the circuits and plugs. They were late, got lost, and left us in terror telling us the entire electrical panel needed to be replaced....easily two grand. We called another company and we were told the panel was fine, no problems...all we needed was GFI outlets in the kitchen and bath. Yeah, talk about crooked! Shame on you people.

If you looking to get ripped off and overpay substantially, Green Electric Solutions really does have the ""Best Pricing in Town"" as advertised. My duplex rental had a power outage, 3 breakers blew out. Green Electric Solutions replaced a 100 amp and two 30 amp breakers and a few wires at a COST OF $750, including $100 ""labor"" charge. The breaker amps each retail for $28-35, that's retail, not wholesale. You can do the math. I was traveling at the time on the outage; my property manager, knowing little about electrical work and lacking in common sense, approved the outrageous bill. If you're seeking an honest, effective and fair-priced electrician/electrical company, do yourself a favor - STAY AWAY FROM GREEN ELECTRIC SOLUTIONS.

No show! So, I rearranged my Sunday schedule and after waiting 2 hours past my appointment time for an electrician to arrive I decided to call their office. Evidently the person that I spoke to originally either never entered my info into the system or their system some how ""lost it""as the second rep explained. In addition, the customer service by both reps was very poor and I had a feeling that I never should have gave them a shot the first place. There's a lot of great electricians in San Diego... Don't waste your time with these guys.

So I called around to get quotes for an upgrade to my house and to have it grounded. The first guy I called was a ""no show"". I called Green Electric Solutions and they had a guy out by 4:00 P.M.. The guy never came into the house, but he seemed irritated upon arrival. ""What's up! What's the problem? What do you need?"" Speaking loudly, like he just came from a concert. I told him what I wanted to do. He then said, I did not need my house to be grounded. Nor did I need an upgrade. He said if I have issues he can come in and look at it, but my house didn't need what I was asking for. I had not read Yelp reviews on this company before calling. I wish I had. I would have saved myself some time, and this loud talking rude no it all a trip! Maybe if he weren't so ""why don't you know this"" I would have taken his comments with ease. He just was extremely barbaric! This company should truly ""polish"" up their workers mannerisms. I am NOT an electrician DUDE! That's why you were called!
