I had a problem where my breaker kept tripping. I heard buzzing coming out of my sub-panel and it was getting progressively worse. One electrician wanted to charge me almost $4,000 to replace the entire circuit. That didn't seem right. I am so happy I called Peter. He was able to come the same day and found that the only thing that needed to be replaced was the breaker. So grateful to work with an honest electrician who knows what he's doing. Thanks again!

The Green Electric gang were the subcontractors for our recent remodel and the most reliable part by far. I appreciate Peter and Albin's honesty and level of detail. They certainly had patience during an unorganized and long project. They'll now be our go to electrician by far.

Peter and his staff did great work for us recently. Peter returned a request for help promptly, then worked within our schedule to arrange visits to get the work done. Payment was not required until all the work was satisfactorily completed. Albin did the majority of the work on site and was outstanding. They handled light fixtures repairs and replacements and then installed a video camera outside the home, including running power from inside. I'd use Green Electric again!

These guys are good - the take unsafe ""do it yourself"" wiring from past homeowner and turn it into safe, reliable and clean new wiring. Great company!

Peter is an honest man. He is a man of ethics and caring. He is a high quality craftsman who knows electrical from A-Z. You cannot hire someone better and at a fairer price.

The one pet peeve I have is that when you own a business and someone leaves you a message regarding work, that you return the call at some point.
Now, I am not unreasonable, you don't have to call within an hour. Not even a day. But when it gets to a week......yeah, I have a real problem with that.
I was referred to you by a friend, but I don't think I want someone working on the electrical on my home that can't even return a call?...............Think about it.

I used Green Electrical twice and was happy with service. However, the last two times I called, they never even bothered to call me back. Glad business is so good for them, as they lost one customer.

I should start by saying our condo building is known for it's 30 year old crappy electrical made worse by a previous owner who cheaped out on everything - electrical included, of course.
Called Green Electric and left a message. Peter responded via mobile within 15 minutes and spent quite a bit of time (15+ minutes) speaking with B about our wish to upgrade our lighting to be more energy efficient and well...green. (groan)
We had a strict timeline that needed to be met (someone else fell through, but we won't get into that here) and Peter was on the job 2 days later. Major kudos to him as he worked his schedule to help us get this remodel started.
We also had an ancient fan in our bathroom that made more noise than the airport across the highway. The tricky part Peter helped us deal with was the odd size of the current fan and absolutely no attic space to work within. Peter, of course, came up with a great solution and had obviously dealt with this issue many times before.
Our condo is now up to code (awesome!) and we are fully LED. His quote was a flat fee, and when he ran into problems he was able to still keep that amount.
Would I recommend Peter and Green Electric in whole? You betcha.

I'm remodeling an old home I bought and because of all the electrical demands of modern kitchens and bathrooms I had to upgrade the electrical system. I'm new to this so some guidance on exactly what had to be done was needed. Based on the good Yelp reviews Green Electric had I decided to contact them, among other companies.
Peter responded quickly and came out to check my system and give me his recommendations. He gave me a breakdown of each component that can be upgraded so I can determine what my budget could accommodate: The main panel, the wiring from main panel to sub-panel, the sub-panel itself. I really appreciated this since the remodel is already costing an arm and leg.
Between Green Electric, my contractor, and another reputable company, Peter's bid came out 32% lower than the highest bid I got for the exact same work: Upgrade the main panel (and create a space to accommodate the new panel) and upgrade the wiring between main and sub-panel. Peter got the necessary permit and coordinated with the city and PG&E. Nothing was required on my part, which was a relief considering everything else I need to keep track of.
I would definitely work with Peter and his team again. Even my contractor decided to keep Green Electric in their file for their future projects (to keep their prices competitive, I imagine).

Called Peter based on great Yelp reviews, thought them being local in San Mateo would help. He sent his young employee Sergio (I think was his name). He spent 1 hour (costing me $150) just to let us know that our dryer plug could not be changed from 3-pin to 4-pin due to the connections inside. It's a European dryer. My request for an estimate for the cost of changing the wall-socket instead to fit the plug was ignored by Peter.
Green Electric was a complete waste of money. Realizing the plug could not be changed should have taken 20 minutes tops. We had a great local electrician out who charged us a mere $40 to change the wall-socket and he took 30 minutes total.
