Installation of 14 solar panels and Enphase Battery ensemble took one day.
The Green Choice Team lead by Eddie was Prompt, Professional, and provided Personalized service. They understood the importance of communication with the owner. Treated the home as if they were working on their own home. They delivered service excellence and customer satisfaction. Next step is for the solar electrician(s) to come in and hookup the ensemble and add other items required by SDGE.

Good luck getting any warranty repairs done, have a leak in my roof that they admitted there was previous roof damage prior to installing new roof which they just put shingles over the old damaged wood, said they do an extensive water leak test, their roofer ran water for 4 minutes and said nope there's no leaks my boss will be in contact with you and left. Never received a call back, I called them to ask about it and Rebecca said you have to talk to Marco and he's not in till 5pm and I'll have him call you back, that was a week and a half ago the so called extensive ""water leak test"" was about 3 weeks ago. At this point I don't think I'll be hearing from them at all

Installation was a nightmare. I was told it would take one day, but it took two days (not a big deal). After the installers left, I discovered they ran conduit on the front of my house (ugly). Unbeknownst to me, they were not finished with the install. I called to complain about the conduit issue, and they came out a week or so later to finish the installation (not to address the conduit issue). They told me that they needed to send their ""crack team"" out to address my issue and was told they would call to schedule. No one called. When I called, I was told that she could not help and someone else would contact me, but no one called.

I later received a voicemail and text that the system was scheduled to be inspected. I returned the call and text (no reply to either). I called again telling them I did not want the system inspected until the conduit issue was taken care of. I called again and was told someone would call to schedule because she could not address my issue. Still no call. I kept calling back and finally the woman that originally told me she could not help me now could help me and put me on the schedule. The conduit was re-routed to my satisfaction.

A guy called me about the voicemail I left and wanted to schedule a guy to come out. He had no clue someone had been out two days prior. I proceeded to tell him of my dissatisfaction and chain of events. He told me did not want to hear about my unhappiness and only wanted to address the voicemail I left.

He helped at my previous job with replacing an inverter and has troubleshot our personal home after the original installer went bankrupt.

We had a leaking roof and the solar system was 18 years old and failing. We had several big name solar companies come out and all of them wanted to replace the entire roof and replace the entire solar system. We are a retired couple and could not afford such a big expenditure. Green Choice was recommended to us and we were contacted by owner Marco who evaluated our system and recommended a repair solution. Marco also recommended a roofing company (SRS Roofing) who came out quickly and recommended replacing half of the roof since the other half was extremely good. Between both companies the repairs were completed in just a little over a week. The solar panels 41 in all were removed rewired, cleaned and reinstalled on the new roof. Marco installed a new inverter and spent a Sunday on my roof monitoring the system to make sure everything was working correctly. The service I received from Marco was first class. The work done was first class. And the cost was extremely less than I was quoted by every company that came out. I have told all my friends about Green Choice and will not call anyone else for future service.

Recently I noticed that my solar system wasn't producing power when I got larger than expected SDGE bill. The installer had gone out of business so I wasn't sure what to do. I called Green Choice Energy after they were recommended by a friend and was very pleased with their service and professionalism. Unlike many contractors they were timely and maintained great communication throughout the process. Marco came out and identified that the problem was a bad inverter. He replaced it with a new one and had system back up and running in no time.
