Every once in a while, you find a contractor who truly is ""Great"". Great Brothers Electrical Services clearly earns their name. I called for an estimate on a generator interlock being installed on my home. Henry came to our home within 72 hours, surveyed the situation and gave me the estimate. They scheduled the work promptly and showed up at 0830 when they said they would arrive. What a nice and professional crew. Henry was the lead and the three men with him formed an efficient and focused team. Each man knew his job, and he did it. They finished in 2 hours, cleaned up the job site, tested the interlock and were on their way. They exuded confidence at every turn. You just knew they knew their jobs and were dedicated to doing the job well. They were able to install my interlock with no wires showing by placing the wire behind the brick which was considerably more work for them. It would have been easier on them to place conduit on the brick, but they took the time to fish the wire through and give me a seamless installation. Their prices were more than reasonable, and I will be calling them again for future electrical work. I have great confidence in this company and highly recommend them for any electrical project.

These guys are AWESOME! They are highly skilled--excellent at what they do. They also didn't try to nickel and dime us like other places or charge a fee just to come give an estimate. Instead, they did everything they could to help us get the best price but still ensuring quality work. They replaced our entire electrical panel and even got us a whole new meter from the city for no extra charge. The top-notch work was finished quickly and efficiently, and absolutely no mess left behind. These guys are professional, have great expertise, and were honest and friendly. We couldn't be happier with their work. Highly recommend!

I reached out to Great Brother's after another electrician did not show up. On short notice and limited information about the job, they showed up and installed two 60 amp circuits in my main panel, pulled wire through my attic, buried the wire and terminated in a sun-panel in my shed.

Joshua and team did a great job, they were professional, courteous, worked quickly and cleanup the once they were done. They also installed GFIC's, outlets, interior and exterior boxes for lights.

They pulled permits and each inspection passed without issue, the inspector even commented on their workmanship.

Would absolutely hire again for future electrical needs.

We just moved into the area and the home was quite dark with limited recessed lighting. We asked Great Brother Electrical services for an estimate and an appointment. I requested basically about 36 total recessed lights throughout our home.

They were very responsive via text throughout the estimate process and were flexible when some of the plans had to change (how many lights in the living room for ex) and just updated the invoice.

They were also informative throughout the process. If a full canned light was not available, they went out and got the slim recessed LED types on their own and just adjusted along the way.

Jose the owner and main contact was also very nice and communicative. He tried to install smart switches that I had pre-purchased. He tested and found they would not work and recommended other switches that would work better (Lutron).

A day later I tried to update a switch myself to add a dimmer I bought and some plugs in the room didn't work afterwards. I thought I broke it and I called Jose, and he was nice and accommodating enough to come by and identify and confirm it was just the breaker and replaced the breaker part for me immediately.

I consider Jose and his company to be my go-to company for any electrical related needs!

They may be great, but I'll never know because they never got back to me, even after calling them multiple times. I literally asked if they still wanted to provide a quote, they said they did, then never followed up. I delayed a job waiting for them, which I won't do again. Other reveiwers seem to like them, so they may be worth the call, but I couldn't get a response... maybe my job was too small? Good luck.

I used the company. Before they sent any workers they had me send them pics of my panel so that their workers would have the correct items/materials if they were in my area. They acknowledged my pics and sent workers. The workers were good and finished the work well under 1hr, however they did not have the cover's/fillers for empty slots in panel so they left my house to go to the store, of course coincidently this put them over the one hour and I was charged and extra $65 PER WORKER. I complained to the company but got no relief, their reasoning was even though their workers did not come with the appropriate items/tools to perform the job I should still be required to pay extra time. The workers were good but this company is not customer forward it is all about the $$$. I'd suggest if you go with this company make sure BEFORE they begin their work you have them review that they have ALL items so they don't have to go get something on YOUR DIME!

We had a crazy mess with the electrical switches and outlets, and fixtures in our hallway and bathroom. The wires were all hot and shorting out, very dangerous situation! Another electrician came out 3 times, charging us each time, and they would rig it up.... With the situation returning within days, because the wires would remain hot and melt together! Very dangerous situation! I called these guys and they were there within hours and fixed the problem, and replacing all fixtures, the same day! Wish I had called them first!

My husband and I just moved into an older home knowing the electric panel would have to be replaced meet code. We just didn't know how difficult it would be to find somebody reliable for the job! We had 4 different companies contacted for quotes and they either just stopped responding to emails, didn't show up when we had an appointment, or had a quote that was 5 figures.

They replaced everything, added outlets, rewired existing fixtures, covered boxes in the attic, updated outlets, and even connected my Wyze video doorbell when they saw it sitting there!!! They were so responsive, polite, worked clean, and always on time! I had the whole job completed within the week of initial contact. I have already recommended them to my parents who have used them as well. Look no further- this is a GREAT company!

We had some electrical issues causing our refrigerator to keep unexpectedly turn off. I called around and no one could come for over a week. I found one company that came but didn't have the proper tools to fix the problem. I came across Great Brother Electrical Services on Yelp and gave them a try. They understood the urgency and made it to our home the next day. Not only did they arrive during the given time, but they fixed the problem! Also, their prices are much more reasonable than the other 2 companies I reached out to. Friendly and professional workers who get the job done! A few months later, we had some lights/fans that just stopped working and we wanted to include some electrical work on our patio. I reached out to Great Brother again and they arrived the next day. They fixed what they could upon arrival and went to the store to buy a few items they needed to finish the work; came back and completed the items. Again, super friendly and professional explaining what the problem was and how they fixed it. Also, very respectful: I asked them to please have no shoes on the carpet and they happily wore shoe covers. Great Brothers is my go-to for any and all electrical needs!
