A couple of weeks ago when we had heavy rain, my back yard and pool flooded. Apparently our sump pump broke and after we replaced it, they also recommended an electricaian to look at the outlet to make sure safe to use bc it was submerged in water.

I called around and James called me back stating he would be able to check it out and change the outlet in a couple of hours. He explained and showed me what he was going to do. He was super helpful and answered all my questions. I called multiple people off of yelp and James was honest and most reasonably priced. Thank you James, I'm so glad you are in the Los Altos neighborhood!

We contacted James and scheduled our non-urgent lighting swap out (CFL to LED) for our kitchen. He fit us into his schedule during a time window that we had - and did fantastic work. You could tell he knew exactly what was needed and even though our job was a pain (prior installation made this swap difficult and unique with each of the 8 lights), James just pushed through each light and solved each one. We will definitely use Grassroots again for any electrical work in the future.

I needed an external outlet installed and James came out to review the location and provided a fair estimate on the spot.
A few days later I had a totally unrelated problem with a circuit in the house that failed. James juggled his busy schedule to fit me in the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and repaired it (it was due to loose wiring performed by a previous electrician). He also installed the new external outlet at the same time. He was very helpful, alerting me to other problems that he observed while performing the task at hand. James is very knowledgeable and personable and I highly recommend him for any of your projects.
