Granite Electric is the best. They helped me - at no cost - to get PG&E to diagnose and repair a major problem with the electrical service to my house. I had them convert my old fuse box to breakers and I also have had them run electrical service to my backyard.

Just recently, I wanted to replace the track lights in my house. Rich reviewed the order prepared by City Lights and pointed out where City Lights had omitted certain necessary parts. Granite then installed the new lights - and, with an old house - that included dealing with a missing junction box and some other 'old house' issues. The bill was extremely reasonable!

After a total job disaster done by Everlast Construction, Pleasant Hill, CA, we were referred to Granite Electric by PG&E. Monique was a pleasure to work with and the company employees were able to correct the job so that it could pass both PG&E and the city inspections. Everyone we dealt with in the company was responsive and after our bad experience with Everlast, this was like a breath of fresh air. They helped us out of a bad place and restored our faith in a contractor.

What a GREAT company and GREAT people! We needed to have a few recessed lights installed in our wine room and have a switch moved so contacted Granite Electric. Monique came out right away and gave us a very reasonable quote. The next week the work was done and we are very happy. No mess and everything looks great. To top it off, they are so honest that we received an email saying the job took less time than expected and they wanted to give us a partial refund or help us more on the project! We thought the price was right so did not not want to receive anything back. I cannot recall ever having a company do this and was very impressed! We highlyt recommend Granite Electric and will certainly call them again for any electrical work. Super nice people and excellent quality workmanship.

Granite is awesome! They are very professional and do great work. We've used them 4 times to add electrical outlets inside and out, install outdoor lights, update switches, replace a thermostat and hang new fixtures. I've worked with several different electricians from Granite and they were all great. All their work is clean and everything they've done works perfect.

We just used Granite for the second time last week. The first time, they replaced our electric panel, and this past time, installed a very expensive (read ""complicated"") dining room light. Both times the staff were great, the office manager is very responsive, as is the owner. The show up on-time, clean-up when they leave, and are very respectful of our property.

Great work replacing our downstairs electrical panel, which was 50 years old. Replacement breakers became impossible to find. They did the panel replacement promptly and efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

They tried hard to keep costs down, and charged a very fair price for what turned out to be an all-day job. We were pleased with their honesty and professional attitude, and will hire them again when we need electrical work done.

For those reasons and because it's a small company they get busy at times, but for me waiting a week around the holidays was not a big surprise. Our problem was not that serious anyway, just made it hard to use the clothes dryer. With the new panel the dryer is back to its usual self and we're glad we found a quality electrician with fair prices.

I've called Granite twice, for two unrelated electrical problems. Both times, they came at the time scheduled, did the work, were cordial, and charged reasonable prices. One time they fixed the fuse outside the house and the other time they fixed an outlet that had burned out. It makes me feel good to know I have someone reliable to call on for electrical help, because I live in an old house and I know nothing about electrical stuff.
