Miguel came out prompt and on time every time. I needed a dedicated plug for my electric car in the garage. He helped me brain storm on placement of receptacle box for easy access and for future usage. Miguel went above and beyond what I was expecting, he cut the drywall clean and placed it back without noticing it was opened. He was also nice and professional and did the work fast wth high quality.

Miguel came out late on a Friday night to help me with a ""electrical mystery""...my kitchen lights just went out all at once! He was quick to figure out the issue...faulty light switch, replaced the switch, checked all the lights and outlets in the kitchen to make sure no other problems. We have used Good News Electric for several jobs both big and small, installing a very large ceiling fan, installing a living room tv with the wires hidden out of sight through a wall conduit, and installing lights and electrical sockets and re-routing electrical wiring in the garage for a drywall job! Miguel and Angel have done the work every time with speed and efficiency and always leaving everything clean and looking and working great! Miguel has always given a fair, detailed and accurate quote for the work before hand, and always delivered!

I found Miguel online and hired him today to help me switch out an old hard-wired stove into a three prong outlet for my new range. Can't thank him enough. I called, set up an appointment (after he went over an estimate with me) and a now the work is done. I'm really happy with the quality of the work and his professionalism. I can't say enough about Mr Miguel of Good News Electric. I can tell u all this, i was at my wits about getting my electrical problems fixed. 1st electrican charged me $400 for 1 hrs worth of trouble shooting & repair which was incorrect & noted i needed to upgrade my utility box to 200 amps. 2nd electrician didn't except AMX charge card but also had gone inside my house and said my problems were a short in the wire, would have to go thru entire house for troubleshooting & rewiring. Finally Miguel had to be called for 3rd service call, in which he saw the problem right away. And even though i give all electricans the same history information to help them solve the problem, only Miguel was able to go straight to the source. It was the the weather feeder & aluminum wire coming from SDG&E that was causing me to have shorts. Breakers weren't even poping anymore. 5 star experience for sure. After power went out in part of our living room and stairs and the circuit breaker would not reset, I yelped a local electrician and found Miguel at Good News Electric. Called him at 6PM and he asked me if I wanted him to come by right now. I sure did. 15 minutes later, he was knocking on my front door. He said he was an expert troubleshooter and he was not lying. Through process of elimination, he found the problem. Sloppy wiring job by the original electrical contractor. He fixed this quick and was gone but not before he gave me recommendations for new LED light bulbs throughout the house. Miguel was responsive, quick, honest and I will call him again for sure.

Miguel did a great job for me!! I was referred to him by Home Depot, to have a chandelier installed on my deck. He called me back right away, gave me a fair price and was very pleasant to work with. Very nice guy - I would definitely hire him again.

A bit pricey provided me a quote of 95/hr and fixed my hood for 1 and a half hour and made me pay $190 but overall awesome clean job.
