I am so incredibly disappointed in the work and customer service Good Electric had to offer. I hired them to install new lighting fixtures in our building. Their electricians said the lighting could not be installed in the space provided and I would have to buy all new lighting. I called the store where we bought the fixtures, and their electrician came out and installed the lights with no problem. Weeks later, Good Electric sent an invoice charging me an arm and a leg for an ATTEMPT to install the lights. I called Good Electric many times to speak to Mike the manger, but he was never available. I finally talked to him today. My goal was to understand why he charged me so much and why I was told the job couldn't be done. He said he ASSUMES the work that was done from the other company is not up to code. He said I don't have time for this, and I do not want to discuss this anymore. I told him I was very disappointed in the customer service he is providing, and he said I don't have time for this, I won't charge you for our attempt if that's what you are wanting. Then he just hung up. I just wanted to discuss the reason he charged me for an attempt and if he felt like this was fair. He was rude and disrespectful, and I do not recommend using this company.

I hired Good Electric to diagnose a problem with a tripping circuit. After 3 visits at a cost of $309.10, they 'finally' determined it would require an additional $350 to repair the problem. I was advised to speak to the Service Mgr Jeff who would be calling me and it wasn't until I called him a week later that he finally returned my call. He told me he would need to speak to the owner regarding my particular request...that was on 9/14/2021. As of today (9/22/2021) I've heard nothing. Their website boasts of being ""Dedicated to Excellence and Customer Care"" with a ""100% Satisfaction Guarantee""!! They missed on this one and were given numerous chances to make this right. Ignoring your customers does not meet 'Excellence in Customer Care' in my book. Notice the testimonials on their website have no dates and any reviews for their company are only as recent as 2019. Apparently a lot has changed and NOT for the better! There are other companies who truly do care about customer care and back up their claims of 100% Satisfaction. I encourage you to shop around before going to Good Electric. By the way, I'm out $309 and still have the same problem before I contacted Good Electric.

Sometimes there are small electric jobs you can do yourself and then other times you need a pro. These guys are pros, they are nice and they leave your project looking better than when they got here

The ladies who answer the phones are great. But they charge you $50 to come out and tell you how much more they will charge. There are better companies that don't charge as much.

I wouldn't normally give a 5-star review to an electrical company, but they were so easy to deal with, friendly, quick to come out to my house, and good at what they did, I feel the positive review is in order. I also felt that the price was reasonable, relative to electrical work I've had done before in Dallas as well as San Antonio.
