Ed came to my house soon after I called and quickly solved my problem. My circuit breaker kept flipping off and he eliminated each possibility until he discovered that a small heating pad had a frayed cord. (It was actually good news that the circuit breaker kept flipping off, because otherwise there may have been a fire!) He answered my questions about other matters very professionally and kindly too. The charge to come out was $225, which I consider very reasonable, and that's all he charged me. I've already given my friends his name and number, because I was very impressed. It's nice to have someone who can explain electrical matters to me in a way that I can understand. A+.

One time he replaced a large led ceiling lamp and the other one he updated a couple of outdoor lights.

He has always been very responsive and professional.

His work so far has been great as well. He cleans after replacing the lights. The cost has been at market prices in both times.

I asked for a quote on replacing a hard-wired smoke detector that was sporadically beeping and a fix to an old fluorescent two-bulb light fixture that suddenly went dim. Ed responded immediately and offered his pricing and availability in just a few minutes! Ed did not disappoint. I read his five-star reviews. I moved ahead and booked him right away and got on with my day. Ed showed up on time and knew precisely how to fix the issues I was having. First, he rewired the existing light fixture to accommodate LED bulbs! What? In no time flat, I had a brighter light than before that likely won't have any issues for the foreseeable future. Next up, the annoying smoke detector. The smoke detector is situated in the near vicinity of a carbon monoxide detector. It turns out that the batteries in both devices were too old. He swapped out batteries quickly and all seems just as fine as it was before the annoying beeping set in. Oh, by the way, I asked for his advice on a couple of issues that would require electrical work down the road. He graciously offered his valuable time to counsel me on a few important future projects. I now have some ideas on how best to proceed. Ed is honest, fair, knowledgable, and hard-working, a contractor with integrity. I will certainly hire Ed for my future electrical needs.

he did a great job After my First American Home Warranty screwed me over I finally reached out and started looking. My main requirement was i needed a smaller sized person who could get under my house. He responded back and said he would like to look into my repair of my cooktop not getting power. He did double check everything the others did to make sure nothing was missed then went under. The other guys could not get in the crawl space he made it and corrected my problem. It was a full day he came at 9:30 left at about 4 but he checked double checked and made sure things were done right. I was hoping the home warranty would cover part of this however they seem to dodge the subject and avoid. One thing I've learned is these so called home warranties are made to benefit the company not the homeowner. First American by far is probably one of the worst companies. I have multiple properties and as a Real Estate Professional I have used them all. FAHW I would never recommend. Gonzalez Electric did a great job and had it not been for him Id be fighting with the Home Warranty still.
