Our house was fully remodeled. Our electrician problems started with a change order after demolition for removing all old electric, including in all the rooms that weren't remodeled And weren't supposed to have electrical touched. We had no choice but to pay and then had to pay again to re-add the electricity back to these rooms on yet another change order. We have Now been in the house for 2 years, and numerous times per week, our circuit breaker goes off in our kitchen (even with only a couple plugs in use) and also in our garage if more than 2 plugs for our entire garage are in use.
We also had to pay a change order yet again to pass inspection because the new electrical wasn't done to code. (The electrician blamed the architect for this, however, it is the electrictians job to do their work to code per the architect). it is incredibly frustrating to have a remodeled house that has ""new"" electric that requires constant trips to 2 different circuit breaker to turn the power back on. Find a different electrician for your project.

Roy and his crew are awesome. We just had all our breakers upgraded and replaced. During the project, I was kept informed and updated on all the steps. Communication is key on any construction project. The crew was always punctual. Other companies I scheduled for a quote either showed up late or didn't show at all. My time is valuable too and I appreciated how Roy and his crew was always on time. The work they did was top notch and very professional. You can't go wrong with with Gonzales Electric. I just discovered they do general construction as well. I know who I'll be calling for my next construction job.

I needed to get a GFCI outlet replaced in my rental property so I looked for electricians nearby. I like to help small or independent businesses so I called Gonzalez Electric and left a detailed message of my issue. I never got a response back. It's a small job, I know, but at least call me back and let me know. I ended up doing it myself.

I contacted Roy on a Wednesday. He was able to assess the issues on Friday and provide a quote. Roy and Carlos came in on Monday and had everything fixed (and more) within 4 hours. Now all of my outlets/light switches work again, Ring doorbell has power, smart switches are installed in my rooms, and my bathroom lights and switches aren't randomly turning off anymore. Carlos did an excellent job on the work I needed done at a reasonable price. (I was quoted significantly higher from another company for less work done.) Thanks again Roy and Carlos for everything! We know who to turn to for electrical issues and who to recommend to others. They are professional, courteous, and are easily able to reach by call/text/email. Also for those wondering, they DO wear masks at all times.

I cannot recommend Roy and his crew enough. We had them replace/upgrade our electrical panel and remove a fuse panel. They were very responsive from the start, we received the quote in writing the same day as the initial visit, work and inspections were all completed in a timely manner, they were all very professional and easy to work with. I would also like to point out that this project started just before the shelter in place began, so that made it much harder for them to schedule with the city and PG&E. Roy kept us updated the whole time and completed the work as soon as he could safely do so.

Contacted Gonzalez Electric about a faulty outlet which caused our recessed lighting to go out. They showed up the very same day and was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done. They troubled shot, located, and fixed the issue. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
