We were referred to Don and his company by our neighbor, who uses Don in his business as well as his house - very shortly after we moved to our current home in Westlake Village.
Don was very professional, showed up on time, cleaned up afterwards and charged reasonable prices for his work on various electrical work.
We are using him again to install 2 ceiling fan/lights, as well as some other electrical work.
Jennifer was very professional and friendly, working with us to get Don to come out and give an estimate, as well as then called us to let us know that he'll be at our house within 15 minutes. Also, did an excellent job in scheduling Don according to our busy schedule (not that Don isn't busy!).
I would highly recommend Don and his company for any electrical work. And Don is also very friendly person and can talk to you about the job without using highly technical terms.

Gonce Electric was referred by a couple of neighbors. We needed to have four smoke detectors installed in the bedrooms and update the two hallway ones to combo smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. Also, we wanted him to install a ceiling light/fan in our bedroom.

He was professional, thorough and cleaned up before he left. The price was reasonable, and Jennifer from his office called to confirm the appointment. He showed up on time and completed everything we needed done.

Plus, he's just a nice guy, and we will use him again in the future!

We have been using Gonce Electric since 1993. My husband even recommended them to his employer and they used him. He had added lighting, fans, outdoor remote lighting, water feature light and power, power for my electric gate, updated my garage lighting, installed can lights, installed sconces and special directional reading lights. Would I use Don Gonce and company again...You bet! They don't come any better.

Gonce electric is simply the best in Simi! We can't recommend them enough! My first 2 appointments were non urgent, home renovation projects like installing pendant lights and adding a outlet to the wall behind our TV. BUT, when our power was tripped by a heavy duty bounce house outside, they scheduled us in right away and came and fixed the issue for a reasonable price and the job was done so quickly! We were SO GRATEFUL! Thank you Don and the Gonce team, I've truly found a gem!

Don and his sons are the only electricians you'll need! Professional and they know their stuff! If you must have a permit they'll know it, if there is a code to follow they do the work accordingly. If you have had previous work done that can be a true hazard they let you know. I've use them for recessed lights, ceiling fans, and adding additional electrical to the inside and outside areas. Each job has been done with care and cleanliness! Thanks for doing things the way people want!
