I called this company for service and was told that it would be 75.00 for them to check and tell me what was wrong. And that the repairs would be extra and that was fine with me. But instead of doing that, he shows up tells my wife what I already told them what was wrong, no power going to my kitchen and bedroom and that it would be 350.00 to do a trouble shoot and that's not what I was told from the get go. So basically I paid him 75.00 for him to tell my wife what I already knew what was wrong. What a total bait and switch and such BS.. my suggestion, save your money and contact someone who is going to be up front from the beginning and not charge 75.00 to repeat to you what you already knew what was wrong. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and against their contractors license for charging me 75.00 for basically doing nothing.

Just wanted to thank everyone at Gomez Electric for an outstanding job. They showed up on time and were very profesional. Throughout the job they were in constant communication with me, providing me with recommendations and quotes. I never once felt I was taken for a ride. During difficult times that's when you see peoples' true colors & integrity. I had an appointment with Orlando this morning for an estimate to remove 17 old emergency signs & install new signs at a retirement facility. I only asked him for a small favor without having any intentions to take advantage of him but to remove only (1) small exit sign in order to determine proper disposal.

Orlando was strictly instructed to come out to my retirement facility to give an estimate & he was so professional & kind to do me a small favor to remove 1 small exit sign in which we had no idea tamper proof screws was imbedded holding the sign up causing such a hindrance. It took him nearly 30 minutes of his time & I offered to pay him a tip thinking it was a going to be a simple task. Orlando respectfully declined & I told him how much I genuinely appreciated his heartfelt gesture & that I pray that God will bless him & his family.

I was impressed that he did something nice without expecting anything in return. Whether I hire him for this particular project if the price is feasible for me to afford or not, I definitely will never forget his kindness & will consider calling him for possible future jobs.

He can't be bothered....I called to have a florescent ceiling light in a commercial building repaired and he said he ""didn't have time for that...I'm too busy and actually I'm out of town..."" What the heck? Talk about unhelpful!

Had a problem w flickering lights.Called them and appointment was made very soon.They came and behaved very proffesionally and explained the problem and gave an estimate.Problem was fixed very quickly will continue calling them for any electrical problems.

Gomez electric not only performs good work. They are affordable and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. Very professional. Had them installed some recessed lights in my kitchen not only did they do a good and clean job but they also included a dimming switch at no extra cost. Will definitely call them back next tax season

I was on the lookout for an electrician for my parents to rewire their house and found Gomez Electric through here. I called for an appointment, got an estimate, and after about two weeks my parents decided to contract them.

First of all, their prices are reasonable. Before Gomez Electric, we had gotten an estimate from Safeway Electric and besides their electrician being rude, he wanted to overcharge more than triple of what Gomez Electric offered for the same job.

Gomez Electric was always professional. Always showed up on time and if they ever were running late, they made sure to call and let us know. It was never more than a 10-15 minute wait, though. They are bilingual in English and Spanish, which is always a plus.

As far as the work done, for our house, it was surprisingly finished in one day in about 8 hours. Each of their workers (about 6 or 7) were organized and did great team work. They set up a 200 amp panel, which looks pretty neat. Inside the house, everything was updated up to code and even smoke alarms were added. My parents and I were extremely pleased with all the work done. The inspector even said the set up of the new panel was perfect, especially for the city I live in.

I definitely recommend this company. They seem like good, honest, hard working people all around. Thanks, guys!

Have used Gomez Electric for 2 jobs. Quite happy with the results for both. Good pricing, and quick response. A simple job at my house, and a more complicated fuse box replacement at my apartments. Both jobs done to my satisfaction. Will definitely use Gomez Electric again.

Was able to get a quote right over the phone. Called on a Saturday. The electrician was at my home Sunday morning. Electrician was very polite and professional. He was able put replace a fan with no problem. When it came to the recess lights I had bought the wrong cans so he offered to go exchange them. Recess lights are now connected and look great. The dimmer I bought was not working properly but he was able to come and put on a different one two days later and it's working fine. Will call them again for future projects.
