I thought I had a real problem with my breaker box the other evening. I called Golden Electric, hoping they would pick up my message in the morning. The electrician, Tony, called me by 8:15am and said he would be over by 9am. Tony had replaced the breaker board at my house a few years ago when water had damaged it. He went over and above getting parts at that time. This time, he checked the box and found I had not sufficiently flipped the switch to restore power. I asked about splitting some of the load to another breaker. He was very honest explaining I could, but it wasn't worth it in his opinion. It would be too expensive for how infrequently the breaker trips. He gave me a few tips and did not charge me for the house call. I highly recommend Tony at Golden Electric.

I called Golden Electric in the morning, and Tony was at my house the same afternoon to check out the non-working outlets in my kitchen. He was quick in identifying the problem and proceeded to replace many of the breakers in my outdoor electrical panel. The work was completed in a couple of hours and I was very pleased with the outcome. I will not hesitate to call Tony again in the future for any electrical problems that arise.

I requested an estimate for installing a charger for an electric car. I was told that my electrical panel was maxed out and the work would cost $2800 - 2900 to run a new line from my electrical box to my garage (directly above). When I said that I wanted a conduit run in the garage to place the charger more conveniently, that was an additional $350. Since I had another estimate scheduled, I did not commit to having the work done by Golden Electric right away. The second electrician estimated the job, including the splitting of a line and the running of the conduit, at $412! The second electrician got the job. If you consider using this company, please make sure you get multiple bids.

Over the last five years. Tony has done several electrical jobs at my 1920's bungalow in Altadena. Any old house has its quirks; but, Tony is always able to find the most correct and safest fix. Recently, he rebuilt my attic fan that is original to the house. I was worried he couldn't find parts to fit. Remarkably, he did find the parts and crafted a most elegant solution to the problem. I will always call him with any electrical problem.

I had what I thought was a serious electrical problem. I called Tony on a Thursday afternoon and made an appointment for 8 am the following day. He showed up promptly, actually 5 min early, and spent 1/2 hour diagnosing my problem in order to provide an estimate. It turns out that what I thought was a problem was no problem but he made a suggestion for future work to enhance safety in my electrical panel which was showing signs of overheating. He was very pleasant and didn't charge for the time he spent with me. I won't hesitate to hire him for my future electrical needs.

Tony is honest and has done a great job! I asked him to take a look into 2 non-working outlets and a bathroom fan. Instead of replacing the fan, he fixed it and saved me good money! One of the outlets is connected with very old wires and he advised me not to fix, because it doesn't worth the cost. He fixed the last issue I have, a non-working outlet, quickly. All-in-all, I am very happy with his work attitude, knowledge, and most importantly, his honesty. I keep his number handy and will definitely recommend him to my friends.
