We selected Golden Electric to replace our service panel and also additional electrical work in our kitchen, and were very pleased and satisfied with their work and final products! We had assessed multiple estimates, and Golden Electric provided the most value given the amount of services offered. Golden Electric not only replaced our service panel, but also did all the patch work (ie, new stucco) that other electricians said we'd need to find a handyman to complete. Other electricians suggested to install a new service panel next to our old one and use the existing space as an empty storage area, but Golden Electric was the only one that offered to install the new service panel in the existing space, which we preferred.

During installation, we had a week of heavy rains, and so the team at Golden Electric came out quickly to cover the open area with plastic and a tarp, which protected the work area.

Other great work that Golden Electric completed were installing a dedicated EV charging line for our EV, a new Ring driveway floodlight, and a new Google Nest thermostat; fixing flickering lights in our kitchen and dining rooms; and other complementary services the inspector had suggested around the house (ie, new vent in our crawl space below the service panel) which we really appreciated as a customer.

Overall, we were extremely happy and satisfied with the exceptional work and level of customer service provided by Golden Electric, and highly recommend their expertise to others in the Bay Area.

Install of EV charger in garage within 5 feet of 400A panel. 60A estimate $600...but for 80A charger, which only requires a larger breaker and different gauge wiring, 3X more expensive!!! Completely crazy pricing!

Requested wiring 2 circuits from main panel to new water heater and future electric range. Bids were in a reasonable rate. They wanted to do the permit which took a long time and delayed the final inspection by over a month. I suggest if you select this contractor, you do the permit application yourself. I took off one star on for this. Other than that they did a good and quick job of installing the circuits.
