Folks should realize that electrician companies are often understaffed and back logged.
The team who came were also good at explaining electric details no homeowner should ever be ignorant of. Our home was built in 89

Hired this company to upgrade lighting, or lack thereof in the garage. My hobby is restoring vintage arcade games, to which proper lighting is essential. Unfortunately for the workers I had several projects and items spread all throughout the area they needed to perform the job in, but thankfully they were careful and treated the vintage equipment with caution in which I am grateful. The work performed by GoGen Services was top notch, the workers were all very friendly, punctual, and appeared to enjoy doing what they do. I took one star from the company because they state they support the military, first responders , back the blue, veteran owned, etc, yet they choose NOT to offer any kind of Military or First Responder Discount. Why state that you support us, then don't?! Might gain more business if they would consider offering said discount, we are after all in Military City USA. Took another star away because the person responsible for whatever ""system"" they use for us customers needs to pay closer attention to detail; first they got my name wrong, no biggie, double booked my project with another for the same day by accident, when the workers arrived, they went knocking at the wrong house (different number was placed in the ""system"", lastly communication is key to both workers and the customer. Once they, or whomever really masters the system program, it will be fine, work out those kinks! In conclusion as far as Value of work performed and products used were equally awesome, the garage is REALLY bright now, so mission was indeed accomplished. Price wise they are comparable with similar companies, but they (like others) have little to do with prices of products (where they purchase them from) for use for their jobs. Bottom line is the final price for the whole job in the end was IMHO a bit much. Would I consider them for future projects? maybe.

We just moved into a home and had some electrical issues. Spoke to Alex and he was incredibly thorough. I didn't feel any rush and he explained everything that needed to be done. He came out the same morning and got work. After that, we hired him to fix the electrical issues that were on our inspection report. He worked quickly while explaining to stuff which I appreciated. The thing I most appreciated was the cost. He didn't try to price gouge us and was incredibly fair. I priced this job with someone and the cost was so high without even looking at what we needed. Alex was more than fair. We highly recommend his services and will use his company in the future when we have more electrical needs
