When I took out a wall of cabinets, I found some sketchy electrical work. I called Jacob and explained the problem. He said he could squeeze me in that day. Fantastic! He did a great job, even though it was a small one.
When I wanted to install a ceiling fan in my vaulted ceiling family room, I called Jacob. He couldn't get to me for a couple of weeks (he was in the middle of a big project), but I decided I could wait as I was happy with his previous work.
On the day of installation, he arrived promptly and began to work. He was concerned about being able to get wiring to the proper place as attic space in that area was only 1 inch and it was quite a few feet that he had to feed the wire to and insulation was in the way. The alternative was having exposed wiring on the vaulted ceiling. I was thrilled when he was able to get the wiring through so there are no wires visible.
He also replaced a bedroom fan.
He is easy to work with, professional, affordable and a really nice guy. I definitely recommend him.

I live in an older home and the previous owner did a lot of electrical work himself; which was scary considering he was not an electrician. When lights started flickering by themselves in the middle of the night, we knew it was time to bring in a professional.

I called Jacob at Goch & Sons Electric because of the favorable Yelp reviews and am so happy I did! He returned my call quickly and was able to answer my questions and concerns over the phone. I called on a Monday and he came out that Friday. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about our electrical situations/issues. He did a great job explaining the problems and what our options were to address them. He was very patient with me and all of my questions.

He took on a number of items (installing can lights, replacing light fixtures, installing a motion sensor light above the garage, & more) and everything looks fantastic and professionally done.

On top of being highly knowledgeable, he is also honest and VERY reasonably priced! I will never call another electrician for our electrical needs and have already started referring him to friends!

I got a quote from another electrician to install a 3 prong drier and they hadn't gotten back to give me availability after 2 days. I contacted Jacob and he came to the property the same day and did the job on the spot for $100 cheaper than the other guys quoted. He also had critique of how the other electricians had wired my house and seemed very talented and knowledgeable about his profession.
I would definitely recommend him and will be calling him for my future electrical needs. Very good price quotes if you compare with other electricians.

I just had a great experience with this electrician.

I had some nagging, minor electrical work that needed to be addressed. I found Jacob on Yelp and he had some great reviews. He's really busy (because he's good), but he set the appointment for 5 days after my call.

He's really good-natured, and great with my dogs (who aren't barkers, anyway). He went about diagnosing and changing light fixtures, replacing doorbells and a few other things I need done. He worked on his own, ran for parts needed, all while informing me as to what he was doing and why. He's a real contractor, so no money was needed up front.

He just got it done in about 2 hrs, 15 minutes, did it at a GREAT price, and made everything better than before. He even takes credit cards (including my AMEX).

I highly recommend Jacob!!
