Steve, owner of Go Green Electric, did an excellent job replacing wiring and receptacle for a new air conditioning unit we purchased. He was also one of the few who bothered to call us back with an estimate for the job.
His estimate was right on, his work well-executed, and he even took the time to clean up when he was done! We were impressed with his work ethic and great attitude.

I have worked with Go Green Electric, Steve and Masella, twice. The first time was in Jul 2018. Steve installed a ceiling fan and wired it to the switch without issue. I mentioned that I had two loose outlets and he tested them, confirmed they had become loose due to age/wear, and replaced them to establish solid, tight outlets at no charge. I called upon them again in Jun 2019 for a recently purchased house. A home inspector had called out the electrical as a possible safety concern, and recommended an electrician for evaluation and potential repair. Steve identified that most of the outlets and switches were wired from the main breaker panel with aluminum, while all of the outlets and switches were only rated for copper, not aluminum. Steve recommended replacement of all switches and outlets with those rated for both aluminum and copper ... and after my agreement he did so at a very reasonable price. He also installed three ceiling fans, wiring two of them to wall switches at my request. Masella is very personable and will work with you to get Steve out as quickly as possible to meet your schedule. Highly recommended!

I called Go Green to come look at a few problems we had in a home we are selling. Steve came out the next morning, and turns out it was a major task to isolate the issues. Steve stayed and worked as long as he could then came back the following day to complete the job. So impressed by his professionalism and honesty. We should have hired him first :)

Called on Monday for a small electrical repair, they answer the phone the first time and were apologetic they could not come out until Wednesday. Confirmed the appointment earlier on Wednesday and while the electrician was a bit behind schedule he completed the work as quoted with one visit. Other electrical companies I called either never returned my call or blew me off after the first time they proposed didn't work for me.

Called Steve this morning to fix 6 wall switches, which are now working perfectly. I was happily surprised that he could come today, since these switches operate lights & ceiling fans in three rooms & I expected I'd have to wait a couple weeks for ""heat relief""!! Steve was the only one who answered the phone! The other electricians I called did not even return my voice mail (except for one of them 2 hours later). I decided to take a chance on Steve because his attitude on the phone (& later in person) told me he was honest, straightforward, & competent. He was on time, very pleasant, & easy to work with. He does quick (but careful) work, listens well to what you want done, is relaxed-but-thoughtful, and has a quick sense of humor. And his pricing was reasonable. He'll be our ""go-to"" if we need more electrical work done. In a few words, dealing with him was a very positive experience and we'll highly recommend him to others. (o:

I installed a gate opener at my house and had problems with it shorting out from day one. Instead of continuing to fight it I bought a new one and instead of installing it myself I hired Go Green Electric to do the electrical hookup to make sure it was done right. The first time I opened the gate it stopped and hasn't worked since. Steve came out and after looking at it told it wasn't his problem and I was on my own to deal with the manufacturer. It is clearly an electrical problem and if he wasn't qualified to install a gate opener he should have told me in the first place. I wouldn't hire him to do any work that might have something go wrong which pretty much covers any electrical work.

I was looking for someone to install 2 ceiling fans in my rental property in Sacramento and found Go Green Electric on Yelp. I read the glowing reviews and decided to give them a try. Steve came out to give me an estimate and his was by far the best of the 3 other electricians I had contacted. When I asked him when he could install them he said how about now. WOW!! Steve was very professional and he worked very clean. Even when he ran into a hiccup in one of the rooms he did not charge me more. He was on time, very professional and his work was impecable. I will absolutely use him again!!!! Thanks Steve!!!
