Ido was both professional and passionate about his work. We have a lighting system controlled by hundreds of wires in a complex heap going to boards and switches. The system is outdated and had no paperwork. Ido wasn't intimidated by this, and he was able to fix the lighting system by testing each wire one by one until he understood the entire system. Other electricians weren't willing to do that, and we were impressed Ido figured it out and grateful for his help!

I called Ido because I was having trouble with my Solar System. My electric bill was suddenly going sky high. The company that installed my solar had filed bankruptcy and when I finally got in touch with someone there they just put up a smoke screen. Ido told me he had little experience with solar, but he would be happy to come and take a look. We saw that a fuse was open and he tested it to make sure that was the problem. He took the fuse so he could special order it. A week or so later, he came back with the fuse and an extra. We didn't negotiate a fee, but it was very reasonable. My solar is operating again and Ido will be my electrician from now on. What a great guy!

Ido came out today to trouble shoot an electrical issue at no charge. Prior to his arriving, and while he was on his way, I had resolved the issue myself. In any event, he did arrive and he spent about 1/2 with me discussing my issues regarding why the power to certain hallway fixtures may have been lost. He was not going to charge me, but I felt responsible for his wasting a trip over, so I gave him $50 as a trip charge. Ido was very patient, professional, and understanding. Trust and competency are the most important qualifications to me for hiring a subcontractor. My sense is that Ido have both of those qualities.

We found Ido and Go Green Electric on Angie's List 6 months ago when we needed an EV charger removed from one house and installed in our new place. He was responsive, on time, with no drama. The jobs were done for a reasonable price.
In our new house, we needed someone to clean up a mess left by another electrician and do our finish work. He needed to investigate and determine the complex map of the rough-in that the first electrician did. This was not an easy job but Ido is a smart problem solver and we now are almost finished with both the rough and finish. Since we really don't have a lot to compare his prices we don't know where he is on a monetary scale, but we feel that we got good value. We will definitely be using him again and will heartily recommend him.

From adding a ceiling fan and outdoor lights to a balcony patio addition, running an outlet above a fireplace for a television, to most recently adding a charger in my garage for my electric vehicle. Ido has always done quality work at a great price.

I had an excellent experience with Go Green and Ido, the owner. I think what makes the difference, after expertise, between an ok and excellent outcome is good communcation, and Ido is a strong communicator. I have a 1938 home that had lots of old wires that were fraying, but I also had newer portions of the house that had been added on that weren't in bad shape. Ido explained to me how he was going to proceed, and even how he did the actual replacement, because I wanted to know. When there were two options of how to proceed, he consulted and advised me, and we decided together. He was on time, cleaned up, and returned quickly if something needed a slight adjustment. I had a chance to discuss my overhead lighting in several rooms with him, and with his help decided it would be worth while to use LED lights in my kitchen. He sold and installed these to me at a very good price, much lower than I had been quoted by another electrician. This was a big job, and I put it off for a long time because of the cost, but I am happy to know it is well done and my fuse box is now finally dismantled. I have one other area that needs rewiring (I forgot it wasn't part of the newer construction) and I will gladly engage Ido to do that when I am ready.

After having problems with the general contractor on a new construction project, I was desperate to find my own reliable licensed electrician to move my project forward. I searched Angie's List and decided to call Go Green Electric based on the reviews. Without question I made the right choice. Ido arrived on time with his assistant Rudy, heard me out about the issues and needs on my project, and immediately suggested a great plan of attack. LIke a zen master (he has a positive calm energy) he could sense that what I initially needed the most was some no-nonsense effective progress on a project that had ground to a halt. He delivered exactly that on the first day and on subsequent visits tackled all that was needed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Even a few times since then when something new and urgent would surface, I could call Ido and he would make his best efforts to come as soon as possible. All in all, a great no BS electrician that gets the job done!

The reviews are right, Go Green Electric is terrific. Found Go Green through the recommendations on Angie's List (and cross checked them with Yelp users) and am glad I did.

In the midst of doing redecorating in our home, my wife and I got it in our heads that the lights in our main bathroom weren't right anymore. She wanted them to match the recessed spotlights we had installed during a major remodel to our master bedroom bathroom two years ago. The problem was that we had already embarked on the painting portion of the current redecoration so time was of the essence.

After checking on his license and insurance status we called Ido (Go Green's owner) on a Wednesday morning and he called back within two hours. As it happened, the job he was working on was finishing up around 5pm and he arranged to meet us at our house that evening. After listening to what we had a mind to do, he suggested a couple of alternatives. We batted them around for awhile and settled on the appropriate course. Ido was booked with another client on Thursday morning but, after stopping at a local lighting store to pick up the three recessed lights and dimmer, he was back at our house on Thursday afternoon with an assistant and the color matched lights and dimmer. They went straight to work covering up the counter tops and floors, drilling holes in the ceiling, and stringing the shields and wiring. Within a few hours everything was done, the site was cleaned, and we were enjoying our new lights.

I can't promise you that all the forces will line up as perfectly as they did for us. (He is a busy guy and we were extremely lucky regarding the timing.) I can say that Ido will do everything he can to make it so.
