Called the office of Gillis Electric yesterday about 3:00 pm and a electrical tech called me back a few minutes later. He wanted me to authorize a emergency home visit payment of $250 for a house call. I said it was not an emergency and he said he could see me in about a week. I told him to keep his house call and called another electrician service. This company tried to take advantage of me in a sort of desperate situation and price gouge. Stay away from them.

GREAT, knowledgeable, dependable service work & employees! They arrived when they said they would be there in spite of them not having any power at their own home! They replaced & repaired the entire electrical stack that hurricane Irma destroyed (by toppling a huge tree over my Mom & Dad's power line) snapping the 3/4"" steel cable holding it to the house!! Can never repay these folks for rescueing my Dad & Mom! God bless them all & especially Owner, Bruce Gillis for making time for us!

Finally! After years of our back room not having electric, we can now enjoy the space thanks to Eric from Gillis electric! He called to let us know he was running a little late, but showed up exactly when he set the next time he would arrive.
Very professional, explained everything to my husband about the process, and spent time after to answer any questions... We had none because of being so thorough when walking us through it all!
We will be calling them again if we ever need help again for sure!
