Lowery's Hot Glass in Old Town San Diego has been producing beautiful, hand blown glass lighting for over 20 years. Recently we have had several projects that have dovetailed with Gibson Lighting. I just want to publicly say that it is so refreshing to do business with such a casually professional company. Jim produced above and beyond my expectations on all of the occasions that we have collectively contributed. I can't wait for what's coming up next! To take the old and marry it with the new is beyond exciting and Jim and his team make the journey incredibly enjoyable!

I am a professional Interior Designer and have been working with Jim at Gibson Lighting for many years on several projects ranging from historic to modern. I love walking into the shop, which I compare to a candy store, with all kinds of light fixtures and parts everywhere. If he doesn't have what I am looking for, we will collaborate on a unique custom fixture for my clients. I have had many custom fixtures made and repaired by Gibson they are very knowledgeable and great to work with. Gibson Lighting is a rare find. Jim Gibson specializes in antique restoration, he is UL approved and is the only one I know qualified to re-wire and restore vintage fixtures. He can copy just about any fixture or create beautiful new ones as well. His staff is amazing and friendly too. Their turn around time for repairs is quick too. Jim does large commercial projects for Vegas hotels, fine restaurants but he always happy to take small jobs as well. I also love to wander in his shop, he has hundreds of antique fixtures from all periods and he is always working on something new and exciting.
