Very prompt. Great communication. Worked with Albert. Booked through amazon. I will book independently in the future.

Amazon contracted Albert to install my Ring. In the process I also had him install my thermostat. He put the thermostat on but failed to wire the proper wires and it never worked. He charged me $85 as well. I had to have a heating & air company come out & finish his work. Albert claimed I needed a part. Not true, he just hooked up the wrong wires. Very dishonest company. I do not recommend at all.

There is absolutely no reason to search out any other company, other than George Gibbs and his team for licensed electrical needs. The level of experience, professionalism and pricing we experienced is unmatched. With our 12 unit apartment building, electrical upgrades needed and city inspector requests, I believe would have made this a nightmare to deal with with another licensed electrician, but George took the lead and was extremely detailed with current work progress and expected inspection sign-offs, all exceeding regulatory compliance of the City of Los Angeles. We look forward to working with George anytime soon, when the service will be needed for any of our assets. Mark Lopez Portfolio Manager, EMNA Management

I've been working with Gibbs Brothers Electric for years. George, Cesar, and their entire team is nothing less than stellar. Everyone is very knowledgeable, and very professional. Whether its a residential project, or a commercial under taking, Gibbs brother is always the first electrician company that i turn to regardless of anything. I can always take comfort that the job is being done safely, properly, correctly, and thoroughly when contracting with Gibbs Brothers. I highly recommend using them for all your electric needs!

Cesar and his associate did a fantastic job wiring up our new projector screen at the event space I work at. They came in, wired the screen to the breaker through well organized conduit run, and put in a gang box drop for the control switch. System is working like a charm! They did the job quickly and professionally. Hope to be hiring them again!

Had some work done at my house, well all lights around the house, inside, outside. Work was done properly, Cesar was on point he explained perfectly what was going to be added and what I will be needing. Price was on point really good people to work with. I will definitely recommend to family and friends. Pleasure having Cesar work on my house.
Thank you definitely calling back.

The lights in my store wouldn't turn on. Cesar Aparicio took care of it in a very professional and honest way by explaining it was the ballast that was bad. The job was very well priced as well. I will defitenely be doing business with them in the future.

Recently had some work done at my home, where i had to have a couple of electrical sockets relocated to counter top level. Al I can say is service was great! Very professional, patient, and an over all clean job. Pricing is very fair, i have ZERO complaints about this company!! Keep up the great job!

These guys are amazing. They are professional, insightful, and provide excellent service. They can and do everything from the simplest to much more complicated work. I have had them install 3phase 220 outlets in my workshop, replace the main breaker in my house, and even a light switch.
George, the owner, couldn't be more kind and patient; as I know next to nothing about electrical work. I am, however, an expert in hiring quality technicians. And these guys are the best. Always on time, if not early. They arrive prepared with more than enough materials, just in case the problem is more complicated than my naive understanding of electricity allows me to describe for them when requesting the work order. They do not dawdle, work efficiently, and are mindful of being considerate of my home/workshop. When ordering parts, they offer me options to consider and never price gouge -- even taking my used materials to see if they could sell them for refurbishing and crediting me the value.
I have hired many electricians over the last few years trying to find a reliable and knowledgable crew. I'm amazed how difficult some can be just to get on the phone. Not so with these guys. I highly recommend them. Truly everything I look for in professional technicians.

I hate writing negative reviews. I like to think that everyone has some sort of redeeming quality but for this company I have found absolutely none.
Several months ago my light in my bathroom went out. I didn't have time to get it fixed so I just dealt with showers in near darkness. Finally, I called up Gibbs Bros because the management office in my building recommended them. We set up a time and day and they said they'd send someone out.
1st visit: the technician woke me up half an hour before he was supposed to be here just so he could let me know that he was leaving. I found this quite unnecessary but hey, if he wanted to be thoughtful who was I to judge? An hour and a half later, he walks through my door. He'd called me 6 times wanting me to find him a parking space because he didn't want to park on the street, and all 6 times I'd informed him that sorry, but I didn't have a magical parking space reserved specially for him in my apartment building. When he got here, he asked me for change to feed the meter because he didn't have any and he didn't want to get a ticket. He then told me that the fan in my other bathroom (which was making strange scratching noises) was absolutely fine and that nothing was wrong with it.
Him: It's fine.
Me: Really? Coz it didn't make that noise when I first moved in.
Him: It didn't?
Me: No.
Him: Well, it's fine. Nothing wrong. A little dirty.
Me: Maybe that's the problem. Can you clean it?
Him: Oh no. You don't want me to do it.
Me: Is it something I can do?
Him: Oh no. You don't want to do it.
Me: Then what do you suggest? Because it can't keep doing that.
Him: But it's fine!
All we got out of the visit is that the light in my bathroom (the one I originally made the appointment for) needed a new ballast and that it would need to be special ordered. I said fine and told him to please leave since he couldn't fix the ballast right then and there and he still maintained that my very obvious second problem didn't exist.
2nd visit: Two weeks later, they sent a new technician (I told them I would not work with the original one again) who came in on time, was really friendly and got the job done in a timely manner. Only thing is that after he was done, he informed me that the ballast he just installed was a 13 watt but that my original was 26 watt and was that alright with me. I told him no. If my original was 26 watt, then I wanted a 26 watt. He said that's doable but they'd have order it. I said fine.
3rd visit: It took two weeks just for the new ballast to come. A week in, I'd received no call from them letting me know this. I had to call them and ask what was going on, was informed it would be 2 weeks because it was shipping from the east coast, and that they'd call me when it got in. When it finally came in, they sent the second technician again, who came in and switched them out. To give the company credit, since then the light has worked fine.
A couple weeks later, I get the bill from them and they're charging me for the second and third visit for a total of $334. It takes me 3 more weeks to get in touch with the guy in charge of billing, who ended up just handing me off to someone else because ""things weren't going to end well if I talked to him."" And while he was handing the phone off, he was talking about me in a less than complimentary way (even though I'd been polite so far--no point in being a bitch unless you have to) without bothering to cover the phone or put me on hold. Way to be professional, dude. It took 20 minutes of near yelling at the guy to finally get our stories aligned about why they were charging me for the second visit, where they installed the incorrect ballast.
Turns out, they were comping me for the first visit as a way of being nice. But since they absolutely have to charge me for two visits (1. diagnosis, 2. installation) they were charging me for the second visit, which was half an hour shorter than what the first visit would have costed me. Did they specify this backhanded attempt at kindness on the bill? Nope. If they had, I would have just shrugged and paid the bill. I would've expected more of a discount after what they had put me through, but whatever. No, I had to call repeatedly for 3 weeks to find this out through a shouting match.
How these guys are still in business, I have absolutely no clue. Two stars for trying to be a decent business and eventually getting the job done, I guess.
