Can't say enough about the great job Al and Rogellio did installing a new outlet in my master bathroom. They went above and beyond in ensuring the job was done right, and they cleaned up after the job. Glad I went on Diamond Certified Directory website and I also took a look at the reviews on Yelp. I saw the good and the bad and decided I would give GENTEC a try. The response was quick, the service was excellent, and the staff is great. I will not hesitate to call on them again for future work. I had some lighting to be installed with very short notice before family members arrived from out of town. It's virtually impossible to find anyone to take a job, let alone one that I knew would take 2 days. Gentec took the job and made it happen. In fact, they even installed outside cameras for me and worked around the rain. Ryan was our electrician and he was professional, great at his job, kind and very positive about any challenge that our job offered. I would highly recommend Gentec and the team.

Very happy with the electrical work that Gentec performed! Had some issues that we were living with, but finally decided to fix. Decided to go with Gentec because of their responsiveness. Called to make an appointment, was entered into their system, and received a call back an hour later to schedule.

John Lopez, the electrician who came out, showed up on time and gave me a call before hand to let me know he was on his way. He explained what he was going to do and why before he did it. I was very impressed by his professionalism and kindness. The price was reasonable as well. Overall, all of our issues were fixed and we are very happy with the service performed.

We have been very happy with Gentec Services. The office staff is prompt and courteous. We were given a two hour window for arrival and they came on time. Al, their technician, is extremely knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. He was able to solve a complex electrical problem for us. I was handed an electrical mess from the prior home owners. After a couple of outrageous quotes from General contractors I came across GENTEC.
After a year of stress from ridiculous quotes and worrying about safety etc we met Al who put that to rest in about 30 minutes. After a comprehensive inspection we were presented with many options as to what we needed, should and could do.
The craftsmanship and professionalism exhibited by Ryan and David was amazing as well as the timeline they were able to start and complete the job.

Back in 2015, I was hired Gentec to installed a level 2 EV charge station outside the garage, technician did a good job, But this company GENTEC Service didn't obtain permits from the county do my job. I was found out by a inspector came inspect my solar panels project. He was told me that "" he can give me a fine up to $500 "". I do ask this company "" do I need permits? But they said NO. advice everyone not to choices gentec services. As they did a bad job back in 2015, I had a issued to pass the solar panels inspection.

I cannot say enough about Gentec. They responded so quickly and were willing to listen to my situation. After having been turned down numerous times for a situation regarding converting wiring for a Nest thermostat, Gentec had their tech call me to get a full break down of the situation so he could bring everything he needed for the job.

Their intention was clear: get the job done the first time.

Their technician was extremely courteous and helpful. He spent hours with me trying to come up with different solutions and spoke with Nest technical support. We weren't able to get the Nest to work because of incompatibility, so they reduced the price of the job for me. He cleaned up everything and left my home like he had never been there.

Top quality job. Could not recommend them more strongly even though we were not able to get the desired outcome.
