Impossible to reach Generx by phone. The website phone goes to a recording telling you to go to the website. We paid a lot of money for our generator & this is not a positive way to provide customer support.
BTW, our install & generator were a very positive experience, but one expects to be able to reach the local dealer somewhat easily.

There's a reason this company has a 2.6 star rating. Go somewhere else to buy your generator, and I encourage you to call this company on the phone. You will be amazed at what happens. It doesn't matter if you want service, new sales, or the installation dept your are not given the opportunity to talk to a human being. While you are on the phone listening to their voice prompts you will get a text that has a link to a form that you have to fill out. Once you fill this form out you will get a response within 72 hours. What a joke, this company wasn't like this when I purchased my generator several years ago. I will be looking for a new company for my service needs. Thank goodness I didn't buy the extended service warranty that they push on new customers. Shameful!

Purchased from Generx 2 years ago, 2.5 weeks ago my 2nd floor ac failed called for service from our electrician who said my new generator with 19 year warranty caused the failure and was supplemental install by Generx. It took 4 calls to get a response from customer no service, never a prompt answer and after 10 rings voice message responds and says next day response, never usually 2days. Called factory not their problem, contact the dealer. Finally got through to Generx and was advised not covered by warranty but 361 to replace. Online numerous responses saying the part has to be replaced every 2 years but they increased factory warranty 2 2years. Had to bring the electrician back out to disonnect the supplemental power saver and ac back on. 3 calls today and finally pressed link for new customers and guess what, phone call back in 10 minutes and confirmed tech will be out today. Maybe after $800 in service charges We'll finally be back in service. DONOT PURCHAESE FROM GENERIX MY NEIGHBORS IN Lakewood Ranch have used Kohler. As on the HOA BOARD and own a commercial apt. mgt company never experienced lack of service and comminications.

We can't praise Generx highly enough. We hired them in late August 2022 and had a projected installation date of Oct. 10th. They kept the appointed installation dates even after Hurricane Ian. We had everything up and running by the middle of October! Wonderful workers. Professional, efficient, friendly. Here's the best part: We chose 2 horizontal tanks - Expertly installed, but lacking specially designed caps. Project manager, Exton has been diligently p ursuing the search for them, now finding they have to be custom made. (I have no doubts they will arrive.) In addition, he has been instrumental in the removal of our transfer switch. He's a gem. Expert at his profession, friendly and helpful. The installation and Exton's dedication to our project give Generx a really good name. They made it easy to decide to hire Generx for our maintenance program.

The problems;
1. Generator set up on pad,electric and gas lines run, then it was discovered that the permit had not been approved. Permit declined. Generator had to be relocated.
2. Did not hear from anyone for several weeks. Phoned and emailed multiple times over multiple days. No response. Was finally able to get a response from the president. A senior executive volunteered to manage the project.
3. The crew that placed the underground gas and electric had no respect for my property doing over one thousand dollars damage to landscaping and irrigation system. The cost to repair was reimbursed but I still had get estimates and oversee repair work.
Overall a very unpleasant,nerve wracking experience.
I would not recommend this company.

Just had a 24kw installed, GenerX Punta Gorda. From start to finish everything ran like clockwork. Contracting was simple, delivery. Of the unit on day specified, and the install and cleanup of a wonderful crew. The install looks like it was done when the house was built. I can't be more pleased with the professionalism of the Generx Team while working with them to purchase and install my full home Generac generator. The office was great but I have to call out Patrick, Dave and Tyler for their awesome work installing my system. They were so conscientious of what I, as the customer, wanted which was a clean and great looking installation. Patrick was knowledgeable about what and how the system was going to work and demonstrated what he was saying. Thumbs up guys. Keep up the good work. Refreshing to witness that today.
