I owe General Electric Service a review in yelp. In Nov 2020 I sent a request in yelp looking for licensed Electrician to restore the electric power of my detached garage in backyard.

Edwin and Hormoz are the first one to reach out to me and the first one to come onsite for inspection & consultation. Their price is very competitive. Most importantly, the quality of their job is SUPER! There are multiple other electrician professionals came to my house and provided various solutions, but the way how General Electric Service solved my problem is the most effective and economic one. They have a partner who dug a trench in the ground, and the trench job was also completed very clean and safe.

I will definitely recommend General Electric Service and I will call them again if I have any electric work in future.

I have used GES for 3 different projects. They have been responsive, professional, on time and followed COVID protocol. They also wear shoe covers and clean up any mess they make. I also like that the owners Hormoz and Edwin are always on sight. They are trustworthy- so much so that I'd feel comfortable having them in my home when I'm not there.

Love Edwin's team! Don't know why there is only a few reviews here tho ! We had them installed two of our chandeliers (15 lbs and 80lbs), high surveillance camera and electric car garage charger . The appointment is on 8am this morning, they arrived 7:45 to setup their equipments and finished all the job within 2 hours . During Covid , they have shoes covers , masks on and also helped to vacuum the floor once the job is completed ! If you have a heavy chandelier , please make sure you call the team ! !!!!!'

Edwin came for free consultation to my home to fix new lighting in our living room and to repair power outlet in office room which was not working.

Regarding fixing new lights in our house, he explained the whole project and how it's going to look after installation.

And about the power outlet, he looked at the switch and power outlet. He opened the switch and found out its simple issue, he just reconnected the wires properly, Boom. Power outlet started working again

We offered him to pay for fixing the power outlet, he did not take the money as it was less that 5 minute job and he was on consultation.

Hormoz & Edwin are exceptional! They are talented at what they do, quick, very fair and very professional. We recently put in an AC unit and had to have some electrical work done. Our AC installer referred us to GES and they were on time and completed the work perfectly. Since then, I have referred them to multiple clients and look forward to continuing that and having GES as my sole electrician referral for all of my clients. Thank you both!

Hormoz and his partner responded to my request for a quote to install a 240V plug within an hour. They were extremely responsive with their communications and flexible around my schedule. In addition they fixed a power issue I had with one of my smart light switches for free...even before I selected them for the plug install. They were punctual and finished the work within the estimated time that I was quoted. I would look to them again for any future electric work.

All around, a great experience. Hormoz and Edwin were very easy to work with, and the pricing seemed really reasonable.

With our children both going to school from home this fall, we're getting creative with our limited space. We needed to ground a couple outlets in one of our rooms so that laptops and other electrical equipment wouldn't get fried, and they were great.

They showed up on time, took about an hour, and showed me the work was done correctly before they left. Overall, a great experience. I hope to be able to give them more work in the future.
