so I saw two reviews saying this outfit was great...I think not. called them, talked sizing and location, electrician stops by and looks around, says estimate done in two weeks, actual install one month lead time to schedule, get parts... been 3.5 months and no estimate or emails or phone calls whatsoever....not good....am getting some one else bye...

Had the opportunity to work with Jonathan of Gen Techs. He is by far the most hands on, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring person I've come across in the generator service industry. We will be working with him and his team for our generator needs going forward. What he was able to to provide for us in the span of a hour was exactly the part we needed, at the right price, and right to our doorstop! In addition, he stayed on hand for an extra hour and a half to assist with the commissioning our battery + generator installation. Unbelievable service, you won't be disappointed if you reach out there guys first.

I used John of GenTech to fix my generator. He was on time, called to remind me he was coming, and fixed everything my generator needed. He is courteous and affable and after service, he cleaned out the old parts and such and made sure everything was in order. He is the only person I will now use to service my generator. If you are in the Tehachapi, BVS, Stallion Springs and general area up here, I recommend this company very highly. He explained everything he was doing and did it as explained. I was so pleased, I signed on for his service policy which is every six months. He was the only trained person I could find that met my needs. Also, he is ex military and I give my business to any vet I can.

I highly recommend him. It is not cheap, but it is worth what you will pay for the security and one can call him anytime, not just for the policy service, but for emergency service. He lives a bit of distance form Tehachapi and our areas, but he is worth it. Note his card in The Bear Tracks magazine.
