I called on a Saturday morning on the Thanksgiving weekend. I had the power go out on my spa that I love to use everyday. Greg stopped by for me and found that it was just some power surge issue that caused it to go out. A simple re setting got it going. He is a very honest fellow. Could have made a big deal out of it if he wanted to.

Greg did some work for me last month. He was diligent and honest- My job was fairly small but he was just as attentive as I imagine he is on larger ones. He was expert in his work, explained everything he did precisely and always gave me options. He also found an issue that wasn't done right previously and took care of it. Greg Cross is the most honest, hard working, fair, diligent man -- and a great electrician. He worked hours to track down a problem with some outlets that stopped working.* Another electrician had told me he needed to start cutting into my walls, but Greg suggested no such folly. He and his son (Greg) crawled through my attic in the summer heat in the Valley to find the wiring that needed to be fixed. I'm having him come back out next week to do some more work on the do-it-yourselfer's other projects, to keep them from becoming the next problem.

(*prior to coming to my house, Greg called me to make double sure I wasn't having a problem with the circuit breaker. He said he did not want to take my money if that was the problem. It wasn't, but it was great of him to call and check!)

Greg and his son were nothing short of wonderful during his work at my condo this week. I called Greg to replace all the sockets in my condo (about 20), as well as repair a few that weren't working, along with a few switches that were not functional. He quickly provided me an estimate over the phone and a writted one by email, and the job was scheduled within a week. On the day of the job, they showed up on time, and got the job done quickly. He was very knowledgable, explained everything he encountered, and made sure he didn't make a decision without consulting me first. I miscounted the # of sockets that needed to be replaced, and he took the cost of the miscounted sockets off the final tally! My new bright white sockets and switches look great, thanks to Greg and his son!

Today we had a wonderful experience with Greg from GEC Electric. Yesterday he came by to give us an estimate for some work that included installing electrical outlets and some motion sensor lights in and around our garage area. He was prompt and very helpful. He came up with some good ideas for the job along with being open to our needs. After receiving an excellent estimate for the work we asked if he could do the work the next day and he said that he could work it out...and he did. He and his son showed up and did a thorough and extremely professional job while being friendly and courteous. I would recommend this company to everyone I know.

Greg does an excellent job! We needed to run a dedicated line for a new dishwasher and didn't have a regular electrician. After checking a few places online, I came across the glowing review from Craig R. I decided to call Greg and was not disappointed. He came out and gave a very reasonable estimate for the job. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He works with his son and it seems like a great team. Greg even found some problems with the circuit breakers and fixed those too. Greg Cross of G.E.C. Electric is bar none the very best contractor we've ever had in our home. Honest, fair, shows up on time, does excellent work, and is extremely knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Greg higher. If you need electrical work done in your home, call Greg. Be advised you need to give him lead time...a guy this good is always busy! Don't worry though; he never ""double books"" himself. When you have a scheduled slot with him, it's yours. He won't show up to your home, do half the work and then run off to someone else's house for another gig.
