Installed our Tesla power wall in early '22. I went with this installer rather than the others (which were half the price) because I wanted to have a permitted install, that way if there were ever a fire or other issue, I would be protected from an insurance perspective, since we followed all necessary steps to be compliant. George said he submitted the drawings for the inspector, I signed the owner authorization form (around July '22), and was assured it would be taken care of. We had other (unrelated) electrical work done in Jan '24, so I followed up to ensure that the permit was finalized as I never had any inspectors come out. It appears the permit was never finalized and was told again it would be taken care of. I've since requested timelines and updates, but haven't heard back for ~2mths and worry I may be ghosted and they don't intend on finalizing the permit. Because of this experience, I don't plan to go back to this installer.

GE Richardson installed my 3 Tesla powerwalls. Oscar, Scott and Dan did a fantastic job, even when the city moved the goalposts.

First of all, I got 3 bids and they were HALF of the other two. Because they are electricians vs. Solar salespeople and they bill for time vs what they think i might pay. The value was amazing.

They coordinated with my GC up front and spent a lot of time discussing various configurations.

I found their work to be impeccably neat, but the real differentiator was how clever they were - they found the right solution using minimal space and disturbing as little as possible. Even the way they placed conduits to make them less visible was nice.

Finally, they were professional and spent time with me and my wife explaining their choices. It was expert work and I would recommend them.

George and his team were fantastic. They installed my Tesla Power-wall. I called three installers recommended by Tesla and George was the only one who returned my call, and helped us figure out what circuits should be considered. He sent me a quote right away while the other installers took their time and came back with $2000 more than George quoted. He was professional, communicated the job in detail and his install team was excellent and completed the job on time. I would highly recommend going with George for any electrical needs and especially Power-walls.

GE Richardson is a Tesla recommended PowerWall installer, you have to purchase the PowerWalls and Gateway from Tesla. George called me about a week after I uploaded pictures to his website and guided me through the installation process. The price George quoted included Cupertino city inspection and permits.

George gave me an installation date and called a day before to confirm. Dan, Scott, and Oscar completed the installation in 2.5 days. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Dan walked me through the PowerWall setup and patiently answered all my questions.

The installation looks good and we are very happy with the work done by GE Richardson.
