When I was managing property in Los Gatos some years ago, George was our go-to guy for everything electrical. He provided excellent service & advice to keep us safe and up-to-date. Recently I reached out to him on behalf of my 85-year-old sister who had a small but urgent problem with the electric base on her bed. The job was small, but that didn't bother George; he saw the need and sent two of his best to solve her problem the next morning. He's honest, sincere, talented & extremely reliable ... probably the best electrician in the whole county.

This is a revisit of the review I wrote for George Richardson Electric.

George called me and we discussed the billing I received for the 10 min work performed at my home.
George offered his apologies and a full refund.
Needless to mention, I refused his offer of refunding my monies, but accepted his apologies.
Oftentimes a good character supplants the dollar remuneration and after discussing his employees misunderstanding of George's direction together
with Georges eagerness to correct this situation.............
Speaks volumes to character.
George impressed me with his eagerness to correct my situation and used this incident as a learning tool for his employee, all the while accepting full responsibility as should the owner/manager of any business.

Very impressed. George was prompt to respond to my request for a quote. I received 3 quotes and his was right in the middle. I chose to go with him because he seemed more knowledgeable and actually bothered to check to make sure I ordered the right stuff. Dan and Javier (I'm sorry if this is not the correct name) arrived ON TIME and did an excellent job. They were knowledgeable, polite and did a great job explaining everything.

Had them come out and update our electrical panel from the original 1954 panel 100W to a 200W solar ready panel, a sub panel in the garage and installing a Tesla charger in my garage. The job was somewhat more challenging since the house design and layout was from the 1950's so they had to run the wire pretty much across the entire property. George and his crew were great to work with, communicated great and did a great job of installing the new panel. His electricians were knowledgeable and very friendly.

Even had my Tesla charger give me an error and needed to be replaced. George worked with Tesla and got the replacement out to me and installed. One of the great things about working with a Tesla preferred vendor as an fyi!

George responded very quickly to my inquiry, gave me good advice about my options and sent two technicians out the next day. His estimate was reasonable and affordable, and when his crew ran into unforeseen challenges, he did not try to pass all of the costs on to me. Highly recommend!

Late in the evening, the power in our house began to act very strange, with some circuits working and others not. Sometimes they flickered on and off. I made an appointment with GE Richardson and they showed up on schedule. After 20 minutes or so, they identified the problem, not with the circuits in the house, but instead, a short on the PGE side with the line coming in from the pole rubbing against a tree branch. They stayed with me and helped me place the call and use the right terminology to inform PGE. PGE came later in the day, quickly fixed the problem and showed me the frayed line. GERE was dependable, accurate and friendly and I appreciated their professionalism because stress is already high enough with home quarantine.

George, Dan and team are seriously the best! We had made an appointment for them to move a light switch, change a light to recessed lighting, add an outlet and move our 2 vanity lights in the bathroom. We had a few things go wrong (on our side) and the team was so helpful and patient. They ended up having to come back three times since our vanity lights arrived late, but they made it work since we had the painters there and needed them to patch up the walls from the electrical work. We had such a great experience that we will definitely be using them for all of our future electrical needs.

Kudos to George and his team (Dan and Jesus)! They recently installed a charger for my Tesla Model 3, which including setting up a new 60-amp breaker and running a conduit from the main panel (at one end of the house) to the garage (at the other end of the house - of course) through the crawl space. The work was completed on time, and the set up looks great! George also arranged the inspection by a Cupertino building inspector.

I would strongly recommend this team to anyone looking to have similar work done. You may have to wait a short while to schedule the work - they are busy! But it's worth it.
