Alvaro and Garcia Electric have done several projects for us, the last one being an extensive kitchen and bathroom remodel with complete rewiring.

Alvaro and his crew are professional, punctual, and flexible. As the project has gone along, we have asked for several changes and additions, and Alvaro has been both understanding and creative in finding solutions. In addition, he is a real nice guy. I highly recommend Garcia Electric.

I do not recommend Garcia Electric. They were late for the first appointment by almost an hour. They did not show up to the second appointment at all. They forgot. When they finally came to work, I expressed my frustration with them being late and not showing up, they told me that I should get someone else to finish the job.

After comparing quotes from two other electric companies, we choose Joaquin to install recessed can lights in our living room, loft area and two pendant lights in the kitchen. Found Alvaro here on Yelp. I also looked at other electricians and he was very responsive and reasonable in price.

When he first came by for an estimate I warned him that I have two little kids so hoping for flexibility. He totally understood and texted when he came and said he has kids too. We decided to go with him and he did the work with his colleague David and managed to work around me, my husband who's working from home, a toddler and a newborn in a small 2-bedroom. Alavaro successfully installed extra outlets in our 100-year old home, repaired light switches, and upgraded our dimmers.

We had an outlet go out and that Alvaro was able to fix quickly and easily. From there we had him look at replacing other outlets and adding a light. Alvaro explained the work and presented several options, wrote up an estimate and broke those out so we could pick and choose what fit our budget.

The work took two days. Alvaro and his brother were super communicative and thorough throughout the project. They even fixed an outlet that wasn't part of the estimate for no extra charge (The electrical wiring is really old!). They finished on time with no unexpected charges. The estimate was very reasonable and the resulting work was clean and professional. Will definitely recommend them to friends.

I hired Alvaro to replace my kitchen ceiling light fixture and the lights under my kitchen cabinet. I also had an old external outlet that he recessed into the wall.
