Gonzalo is great.

We just bought our first electric vehicle and needed to install a level 2 EVSE. After contacting four electricians, Gonzalo was very responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and gave the most reasonable estimate. He was also very flexible as far as scheduling.

He came. He was super nice. He did the job. He was clean. The charger works.

And fixed the issue right away (problem was not caused by my original thesis so I am very glad I got a professional), and charged me a very reasonable rate. We've found our go-to electrician in the east bay.

The outlets in the kitchen weren't working (no microwave, no coffee, & no phone). Gonzalo came same morning that I called & fixed my problem. He didn't have the right color outlet but did get it up & running. He went to Home Depot to get the part & came back same day to finish the work. We are very happy with GAP Electric! I requested a quote to have outlets repaired and 3 lights installed, and within a few minutes I already had a response. Gonzalo immediately came out the next day to review the work and provided an estimate, which was very reasonable. He was super flexible with our work schedule and offered to come in the evening, which was incredibly helpful. Within a couple hours everything was complete! There are still a few more things that need to get done, and we'll definitely reach back out to him when ready.

Gonzalo did an awesome job installing a 240v EV charger. He picked up immediately, was knowledgeable, came at the scheduled time and did a really nice, neat job. He was polite and courteous throughout and explained what he was going to do. He stick to his very reasonable quote even though it presented several more challenges than expected. The best thing is that when I incorrectly thought there was a problem with another breaker as a result of the 240v he just added (I was totally wrong). Gonzalo came back immediately later that afternoon to check on things. Highly recommended
