I didn't see any really recent reviews, but the history of poor customer service seems to span the years reviewed. I am adding mine here. I called a few weeks ago to explain my project and request an estimate. The young woman on the phone was a bit short with me; nonetheless, we scheduled one for 8am Friday (the only time they seem to do estimates) a week ago. She called me a few days before to say that they needed to move it to Saturday at 8am, or the following Friday. I took Saturday. 8am rolled around - nothing. By 8:30 I called and left a voice mail, not expecting anyone to check it on a weekend. A woman called back to say she had 9-10am on her schedule, and didn't she tell me that? I said no, you told me 8am. She told me they were on their way.

A professional-looking man and young woman arrived around 9:30. I explained what I needed as I walked them around my house. They seemed professional and were taking care with masks and physical distancing. I spelled out my email for the young woman, who promised she would send the estimate.

Thursday rolled around, and I still hadn't heard anything, despite monitoring my email closely, so I called. I got the same young woman - she said she had put together the estimate for me - and said she would 're-send' when she got back to the office. I again spelled out my email address. Nothing. I left a voice mail after hours that night, asking if I could text my email address or reply to an email of theirs to facilitate getting the estimate.

Today = nothing.

If you really don't want to do the project, or don't have time in your schedule, could you not just say so? Why waste my time and yours on sending two estimators and playing phone tag? I could have found someone more eager and far more reliable WEEKS ago. Thanks for nothing, Ganesh Works. It seems like whomever you decide to do work for often (but not always) ends up satisfied. The rest of us are left uncomfortably hanging.

They never called back after I spoke with the dispatcher to ask whether they could fit me in their schedule. Seems like they could have at least called back to tell me they were too busy or that my job wasn't the type of project they do.

Santiago and Chris have been to our house several times for electrical and plumbing issues. They are always prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. I would recommend them without hesitation. Please note the reviews with Santiago and Chris in them only. I believe the older reviews, which are less flattering, are from a previous owner.

Called Ganesh Works for a estimate. They quickly adjusted me in their schedule even though it was Friday. I was even able to schedule the work, as long as i didn't mind them coming late. I agreed since I needed it to be done quickly.
Day of work, they called and came early and got the job done quickly, neatly, professionally.
Hazzle free, quick and good work.

Just had Chris put in our pendant light. Everything was great! I called and they came right out to give an estimate, and less than 2 weeks later, I had my pendant light put in. Everything went super smooth and the price was good. Would highly recommend.

I needed a relatively small project done in my house. I called 25 different contractors and only 2 even returned my call. Neither of them actually came back with a promised estimate. Luckily. a friend recommended Ganesh Works. they came up right away and gave me an estimate, then showed up on time when they said they would. They worked as a team with someone doing the carpentry, electrical, plaster, plumbing, flooring and painting. It turned out to be a bit more challenging than we had realized but they did an outstanding job.
When it was all done, Veronica, the office manager actually came to my house to help me fill out the paperwork for the City of Davis inspection. Great experience.

Chris C. and his crew arrived at 8 am to begin work. They installed an electric tank-less water heater. The job included adding 240 volts to a bathroom wall. They did a beautiful job, left no trace of a mess behind.
I had three contractors no show on me. It was wonderful having Ganesh ready to work. They were very helpful over the phone. The best part......the job was done for less than the estimate.

I used Ganesh Works 20 years ago to install ceiling fans in my home where there was no electrical outlet. The work was very good. I have just called to set up an appointment for him to put a ceiling fan in my new home. I'm surprised by these poor reviews. I am going to use him anyway.
