I have used Ganesh for several projects. They have all been done well, they provided a permit if needed on any work. Anytime they were expected they promptly arrived, if any parts, pieces etc were needed they provided. All employees are very knowledgeable and polite, we particularly ask for Chris. I used Ganesh Works 20 years ago to install ceiling fans in my home where there was no electrical outlet. The work was very good. I have just called to set up an appointment for him to put a ceiling fan in my new home. I'm surprised by these poor reviews. I am going to use him anyway.

Hired Ganesh to put in a whole house fan -- Bill did so, but did not obtain permit, which I discovered when the next year, we were selling our home. He refused to do it, and it turned out, there was additional work that needed to be done in the attic to the fan housing before the permit could be issued. We had to hire someone else to finish the work. I would never hire them again. They might work well with local contractors, but not with individual clients.

I have used them for lots of stuff around the house. They show up on time, call when there is an issue and reasonable costs. Never had a problem with them. Installed fan, EV charger, and a few other things around the house.

Don't bother with this company! I spoke with Bill on the phone to have kitchen pendant lights installed and he had apparently booked me in for the following week. Well the day he was supposed to come he never showed up. I called them and I was told they had no record of my appointment. What a joke of a business! Would not recommend this company!

I made an appointment for installation of an electric vehicle charger. The owner, Bill, never showed up. I will never do business with them again.

How can a local business survive with this type of customer service? I can only imagine their follow up if I needed something fixed. Very disappointed.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the work and the lack of professionalism. We had some can lights installed in our family room and they made bad cuts in our newly painted ceiling and then tried to get away with not fixing it. When they came back to ""fix it"", they did a horrible job. They blew up one of the light switches, which we purchased, and then took it with them and didn't tell us that they took it. We had to call them a few times to ask to be reimbursed for the light switch they ruined and to get money back to hire someone else to fix the job they messed up. They finally reimbursed us, but I would NEVER use them again.

Bill is the expert! I recently moved to new home in Davis, called him about replacing range in kitchen , He came over the next day morning, fitted countertop and molding, re-wired electrical (can't dare to try myself), READY TO USE within 2 hours 'for reasonable service charge'

He is also highly recommanded for installing electrical vehicle charger at home garage,

they were supposed to be at my house at 4pm today to replace smoke detectors. NO ONE SHOWED, no phone calls, nothing and their office closes at 1pm. all you get is answering machine.

Do not recommend.

I called with power out to a section of my house and the person on the phone gave me advice to find my gfci, and I fixed it myself! Gave me trust and sense they were on my side. I'd call them again in a heartbeat. The other reviews seem a bit of client-side error, IMHO.
