Called John, set up an appointment and he never showed. I called him repeatedly that day and he didn't answer. I left a message and he didn't call back. When I called the next day he said he had no record of the appointment. I forwarded him the text I had sent him with my address, my tenants phone number, my phone number, and our names. And his text back to me confirming the appointment. He apologized and said he would call the tenant to set up a new appointment. Two days later and still no call. I sent him another text and he said, ""I'm sorry I don't have time, her schedule is to hard for me to rearrange things, might want to find someone else."" This was after two weeks of waiting for him to fix an electrical problem. AND he never even called the tenant to see when she was available. Save yourself the aggravation and find a professional electrician that takes pride in their business.

I called John at Galaxy Electric because my electrical panel was sparking and sizzling. He came over the same day and got it squared away until the panel could be changed for a new one. Came back the next day to add a few new breakers and a few days later, John had a very personable and professional electrician, Rolando, come over to have the new panel installed. He did a great job and now I'm at ease knowing that my panel is spark free.
Galaxy is a family owned business and they are truly wonderful. They earned my trust and future business.

Scheduled appt, explained what was needed, and gave phone# & address. Waited for hours past appt time, then called and was told that I never texted them the address? I had to give the address & phone # to make the appt. And no one mentioned anything about a text.

John was always very responsive and communicated with me and was able to give me a reasonable quote before coming to do the installation of an electric sub panel and electric car receptacle. The work was done as described. I'd call him again next time I need any electrical work done.

We had a home transfer switch installed to our electrical panel so we could use our portable generator the next time a natural disaster hits. Having professional work done and counting on it is what these guys do. Call them. You will not regret it.

Here was my experience. Signed up to have a (FPE) fuse box and mast head cap replacement on behalf of a client. 2 days before the power was to be shut off and the job done, I'm informed by John via text that a new meter will need to be installed which will add $500 to the cost of the job. Upon asking why, I'm told the city inspector is apparently making blanket, unreasonable evaluations of meters and is requiring replacement no matter the condition. I contacted the city and spoke with another inspector. (The city inspector I spoke with disputed such claims.)

Be that as it may, I obviously need to restart the estimating process all over again to include meter replacement. In the meantime, I asked that my client's deposit be returned. These events took place around 8/24/17. He indicated that he couldn't return my client's deposit right away. He was owed a lot of money from customers.

No credit has been processed to my client's credit card and the contractor has billed me personally for $185 as well as threatening to file a lien against my client's property. $685 and no work done.

Wow. What a great company. The owner John, along with Cheryl and Aaron showed up on time. They were extremely polite and proficient. They called me back within a hour and showed up the next morning. The job turned out excellent and better than I expected. Their price was very competitive. If you need electoral work I highly recommend them. There's nothing better than fast ,superb work at a very reasonable price.

Galaxy Electrical Contractors did a great job installing six fans and a light fixture in our new home. John and his crew did an excellent job and were very professional and efficient. I really appreciated that he gave me a fixed price for the installation. Other bidders insisted on an hourly rate and with no point of reference as to their efficiency, my wife and I felt more comfortable with John's not to exceed bid. His crew was nice and hardworking, and they were all very clean and neat. I will definitely use Galaxy again.
