One of the best electricians on Oahu. We got a few quotes from other electricians and I can say G2 Electric is very competitive in this regard. But where they really shine is with the owner, Larry. What separates him from other electricians is his personality. He's very affable and will take the time to get to know you, answering your questions and explaining everything along the way. We got a new circuit breaker panel, a quick disconnect box and other general electrical work done, all of it done very well and in a timely fashion.

I'll certainly be going to G2 Electric whenever I need any work done, and I'd recommend others to do the same.

There is a reason Larry has a slew of 5 star reviews. His work looks very clean, he is efficient, on time, and personable. I totally agree with another reviewer - Larry even made friends with our dog!

We had Larry add a ceiling fan, run a new exterior outlet for a beer fridge, and modify an exterior light so that we could add outside bistro lights. (I didn't know we needed bistro lights but Chip and Jo from HGTV have bistro lights, so I found out we ""needed"" them too). I had multiple estimates and went with G2, not because he was the cheapest, but because he took time to understand what we were looking for and he even recommended cheaper alternatives to get what we wanted. Adding the ceiling fan looked like it would be a quick job, but Larry worked his ass off to route the new cable in the wall with multiple cross brace stud breaks.

When I need new electrical work, I am calling G2 Electric! Thanks again Larry. I don't have that beer fridge hooked up yet but when I do, you are welcome to come over and share a cold one.

Larry has completed 2 jobs for us in the last 6 weeks--a larger project where he replaced/repaired/updated most outlets, switches, and wiring over the course of a day and a half, as well as a separate smaller job involving a ceiling fan.

The quality of his work is top notch and completed timely. His response to questions was prompt and communication very easy. That said, what stood out more than anything was his genuinely friendly and laid back demeanor. He's a great guy who does fantastic work. The only negative I can report is that our dog really misses him! He will be our go to guy for all things electrical.

When that didn't work, he troubleshooted the issue re-wiring several outlets. We are more than pleased with the result, pricing, and professionalism. Being new to the island and our home and living in Waianae (west side) we were getting recommendations from people on Facebook for a good and reliable electrician. Thank goodness for someone recommending G2 Electric. My husband had purchased a new pressure washer and had plugged it in our garage outlet. When he had turned it on the outlet stopped working in numerous places throughout our garage and entryway. He checked the breaker box and everything seemed okay. Larry came out and troubleshot our issue. He took time to explain to us how everything worked. He found another breaker box and told us what was connected to where. We asked him to change the amp to 20 since all of ours was at 15 and instead of ripping us off and saying okay since it was going to be a more expensive fix, he gave a recommendation that not only saved us money but made more sense. Overall he was a very friendly, knowledgable and honest guy. I definitely trust him enough to use him again and recommend him to others.
