I was giving a quote of $400 for material and labor how to connect generator to home circuit ..
When electrician arrives he did not have a needed material to start the job much less complete at it . I supplied over $140 in material so electrician could complete this task . He handed me a bill that was 23% higher than the estimate and the job was not done properly . When I refused to pay the difference because I had supplied all the material for the exception of one plastic junction box and a 30 amp Circuit breaker I was not informed of the price change prior to them starting work . This was a straight forward job. If they did not have the material befor they started the job , why show up for a job you're hired to perform , without the necessary tools ???
