Great service, always on time, very professional. had an issue come up and they were able to send out John the next day. He was very professional and showed me what to do if my power goes out again. Unfortunately the task they did the first time did not fully get fixed but it was not their fault at all. I called them to explain and they sent John out that same day to fix it completely and he did great job. Our oven and microwave suddenly went out last night. Fuse was very responsive and arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment. We had Fuse put in a replacement electrical panel. Some of house lights were blinking. During this time the oven lost power and came back on (the oven clock was blinking) without any of the circuit breakers being tripped. Fuse look at the panel (it was 57 yr old Zinsco Panel!) and it needed to be replaced as soon as possible. Fuse said they could have it replaced the next day (Friday). I opted to have it done in the earlier part of the week. The ""one"" day electrical replacement was scheduled the next Tue. The job called for new electrical panel, new circuit breakers, upgrading to current electrical code, city permits, removal of old panel from stucco wall, installation of new electrical panel, and re-stucco the wall opening.
Alex and Ian arrived Tues morning to start the replacement project. A few hours into the project Alex found the underground metal conduit containing the city wires was in wrong position so it couldn't be connected into the new electrical panel. Additional stucco wall was opened to determine how best to reposition the metal conduit. Alex came up with a s shaped conduit modification to reposition the city connection into the electrical panel. All this took additional time and it was clear that we would not get city inspector approval nor city electrical cable connection into the panel by the end of the day. Alex and Ian stayed to about 7 am to get all the new circuit breakers connected. Fuse provided a portable generator connected into
the new panel to power only the refrigerator and house lights until the next day. Alex never kept us in the dark (pun intended) about the project.
The city inspector was at the house at 8am the next morning. The electrical panel passed inspection which enabled the city electrician to stop by midmorning to reattached the city meter and reconnect city cable. Alex and Ian made sure that the circuit breakers were labeled correctly. The wall opening was re-stuccoed and passed inspection a week later.
I appreciate all the coordination required to get a replacement electrical panel completed. Fuse did not charge me for the additional work required for connecting to city conduit. Thank you, Fuse.
I'm very happy with the panel replacement, no more blinking lights, maybe its' my imagination but electrical motors seems motors to be running smoother. Highly recommend Fuse for your next project.
