A new Nest thermostat was installed Only one option, the most expensive one, was provided. The thermostat was installed expeditiously and the installer also did $400 of additional adjustments to my 9 year old furnace and coil that I am not sure was actually needed.

It has taken me a full week to figure out how to use the new thermostat. It was automatically turning off the hear at night into an ""eco"" mode, that I never wanted. I finally managed to get rid of the scheduled Eco mode that I never wanted, nor was explained to me.

I also had to figure out how to set up the Nest app on my iPhone, which was rather complex and confusing. I was forced to first set up both a Google account and email address, which I never wanted.
i would only recommend the Nest thermostats to people who are very tech savvy, and prefer a very ""smart"" oriented home. I am one who would have much preferred to just have a traditional and easy-to-use ""non-smart"" thermostat.

The Nest thermostat is also rather ugly and metallic-looking. Like most ""smart"" devices, I am only expecting it to last a few years. All of my earlier thermostats lasted for decades. This is the first one that I ever had to replace. I am going to look for something to cover it up with on my wall, such as a small duvet, as none of its colors match my wall color or decor.

I specifically requested Alex for this job. My gfci wasn't working and I tried fixing it myself. However, all along, the circuit breaker did have power but it wasn't running through the circuit. Therefore, the problem wasn't the gfci outlet, it was the circuit breaker. He fixed my issue without any problems and was super fast and efficient. Next time I have a trip, he'll recommend me to replace my breaker. I hope it doesn't trip, but if so, I will recommend Alex to do my electrical anytime!

I requested to diagnostic done my thermostat. This was due to another company unable to get it to work. They them told me my compressor was dead. I got a quote the same day (Friday) and had it installed as well as new thermostat. They were on time and even early for another quote I asked for. Our 10-year old refrigerator stopped cooling over the weekend. I called FUSE based on the great number of positive reviews. They responded quickly and the fix seems to be reliable (we had their master technician Kostas out here). The final bill was equivalent to half the cost of a new refrigerator if not slightly more. Our situation was warranted since we were dealing with loads of rotting food. We couldn't get by without a refrigerator for too long and I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks for a new one to be delivered. Kostas got the job done within 24 hours. But damn, was the service expensive. I would recommend FUSE when money is not an issue and you need the appliance in quick turnaround.

Contacted them on Sunday as my HVAC died and they scheduled a visit on Monday, so absolutely great response time!
The day the service, a technician called Alex came, great demeanor, very good at explaining each check he was performing and found the issue pretty fast which got the system up and running!
He then also made sure that the refrigerant was full, pressure was fine and did some minor checks to make sure the system worked fine.

Highly recommended!
