Start here before calling other electricians.

My husband thought we blew the main outside breaker, but unfortunately they told us everyone was currently engaged with other contracts. But Lee returned our call, listed to every detail of the situation and what lead up to it and then walked him through re-checking everything on the inside subpanel first and then walked my husband through on the main panel and how to reset the main breaker. Lee could have easily justified asking for a nominal fee, but didn't. Lee's patience and expertise is astounding. Frontline Electrical Services will be on our 'favorites' dial for future electrical needs and referrals to our friends and neighbors.

I am a clinical over-analyzer. Even my therapist tells me this - I'm getting better! When the time came to upgrade our electrical panel and install new lighting outlets in our house, I combed through business listings before deciding to take a chance on Frontline.

As a woman living with my mom, we are extremely bored of 'mansplaining' from largely male contractors. I am managing the renovation of my parents' home after my dad's sudden death and am more than capable of understanding wiring systems, amperage, and what overloading a system means.

Gary was the kindest, most respectful person who showed up for an estimate. He stuck around for about 30 minutes going through the house, asking questions, and even tolerating our cat's harassment. He's a really good person, and that matters a lot to me in an era where everyone seems to feel entitled to being an asshole, even when they're in someone else's home.

The guys who did the work were equally polite, funny, and good-natured. Whatever Frontline is doing to keep morale high, please keep it up. Reasonable cost and a job well done were just icing on the cake.

Any time I need more work, I'll be calling Gary and Frontline. Thanks for being human beings in a time where we all could use a lot more of that!

I needed to have exit safety signs installed in our office and storage areas, lighting switched over to can lighting, install additional outlets, and fix a fluorescent light. After talking to someone on the phone we made an appointment to have Gary come out and see everything that needed to be done. He was on time, it was quick, and the estimate was sent back to me fast. After I signed the agreement I had received a phone call to schedule when the technician would be coming out, I believe it was a one week turn around. On the day of service, we had Ricci, Frankie, Miguel, and Juan at our location. The job took all day 9-5. They worked as quietly as possible, with minimal disruption within our office. They laid out canvas covering in the areas they were working, and plastic covering over our cabinetry in our breakroom to prevent dust. Overall, they did a wonderful job! I am beyond impressed by their professionalism, great communication skills, and time management.

Highest recommendation from a person who doesn't write many yelp reviews! Hiring an electrician can be tricky. You're basically trusting that the work will be done properly and won't later cause a fire! These people blew me away with their professionalism. Mandy was my first point of contact. She got right back to me, was helpful and kind, knowledgeable and straight forward. She listened with care and responded appropriately and with immediacy even when I told her it wasn't an emergency. The technician that showed up was Frankie and the guy couldn't have been better at his job! He was prompt, capable, prepared, an excellent communicator and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explain it to us novices. All in all, the price was fair and worth the money for flawless service. Thank you Frankie and Mandy; we'd definitely call you again should the need arise!

Total rip-off. Wanted to charge me $410 just to do a ""diagnostic"" on an outlet that wasn't working....I could probably just replace it myself by don't have time. For comparison's sake, Robert's Electric of Oakland charged me $3200 to completely rewire a panel of 12 circuits, test it, and have it inspected. Frontline wanted to charge almost 13% of this just to diagnose and replace ONE SINGE OUTLET. And they don't service Oakland. Complete crap. Don't use this company.
