Highly recommend Fred. Our curtain rod came off from the wall. It is a huge rod and the center bracket came off. I was afraid that the entire rod will fall off takings pieces of wall with it. Luckily I found Fred. He was very prompt with his responses and quotes. He came in as quickly as possibly and did the job flawlessly!
Very pleased with his work and will call him again in the future.

I had a smart light switch that I needed installed. I posted a request on Yelp to four businesses and Fred's Handyman Services responded the soonest and was available in a couple of hours. After asking a couple of questions about the light switch, Fred gave me a fair quote. The installation was relatively quick and Fred even gave me instructions on how to do it myself if I had another light switch to do in the future! I asked Fred about some other projects I wanted to do in my home and he gave me some good sensible suggestions. I'll definitely contact him him for my next home project and would recommend him for any home project/installation you may have.

I highly recommend Fred for anyone who needs a handyman. He was professional, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was also super responsive to my questions and willing to dialogue with me on how to fix what needed to be fixed.He had to do a variety of repairs and I'm very happy with his work. He even pointed out other issues that needed to be repaired but didn't pressure me into doing them now. I appreciate his integrity and kindness. I'll definitely be reaching out to him for any future repairs.

We used Fred's Handyman recently for just a few small tasks. Fred was very easy to work with and did a good job at a reasonable price. I loved how responsive he was by text; most of the handymen I've talked to are NOT easy to communicate with. In fact, the previous handyman we used did not respond to our text when we told him we needed 3 additional small tasks done. No response at all, not even a ""Sorry I'm too busy to take that on right now"" ! Fred was willing to do the 3 little tasks and spend just a short amount of time with us. He was even willing to do a messy job (replacing a toilet seat). We'll be renting out our house and, if he continues to be available, will be using him for future work.

We had a problem with our electricity outlets in our bathrooms - I called Fred on a whim and am so glad I did! He has excellent communication (phone and text) and was able to come quickly. He went above and beyond to diagnose and resolve our weird GFI issues. He is super friendly and an all around nice person. You can trust him to do a great job. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to reach out to him again - looking forward to having him come do other work!

This is the review on the extremely poor communications this person has which likely translates to the type of character/non-professionalism. Yesterday, I spoke with Fred over the phone on the projects I would like to get done with descriptions. He asked me to send him location of my house as well as all the details, video and pictures of each of the 6 projects via text. I spent the time getting all of what he requested and sent them. He texted back ""Thanks. I'll review late evening tomorrow"". Today, I got the message that he's passing on the projects due to being too busy, exhausted and have no time. What type of the service provider recklessly waste someone's time and not even provide you with a quote!!! He said he apologize, but really...who wouldn't be pissed off by this type of treatment!!! I spent at least half hour talking to him and got all the information he requested instead of time with my kids. Beware of this character!!!

Excellent service, great professionalism, and high integrity in work. I had another electrician come and do some shoddy work in my house. Thank goodness Jay was available within days to do my electrical repairs. I look forward to having him for my next project!

Good communication. Quality work. Transparent. Had Fred install a ring camera for me in my condo. He even took his shoes off before entering our home. Will request for Fred again as we plan to do some lighting projects in our place. Recommend.

So, Jay is a real nice guy. I'm going to tell you right now that he is limited in what he can do; however, he admits this and is able to refer you to someone who is more experienced at a job if it's not his forte. He's usually able to give a quote with a picture in a text. He will even tell you what he'll charge if he fixes it right and what he'll charge if he ends up not being able to fix it (which is very little). So far, he's fixed two ceiling fans, a cupboard door, a side door to my house, and replaced a kitchen faucet. He referred a gate to another handyman.

Edit to respond: My bad...Limited in what he wants to do. Still, he's an awesome guy who won't steer you wrong. He's got good prices. He's worth a shot.

Super helpful and was very patient when resolving my issue. Very honest and will let you know what the exact issue is and all options to fix that issue I would totally call him for any future handyman services!
