Needed a capacitor for a Campbell Compressor motor. Gave them the old capacitor . They brought out a replacement capacitor, twice the price of online but I wanted to support local businesses and told them that. When I took the part and tried to install it. It was the correct rating but the wrong size. Took it back the next day. They offered no apologies and said capacitors are not returnable. Finally got me a larger cover for it, said I would have to just drill one new hole to mount it. Had to drill two new holes because of the location of the mounting slots. Poor service, should have told me the capacitor was not returnable and that it was a different size. Will never go back!
I use Franks for my in ground swimming pool pump. They came out and got the pump repaired it and painted it so it looked brand new. Came back and installed it and works fantastic. I highly recommend them, they know what they're doing and did it quickly
My husband was real reluctant to try Franks again however he gave them another chance. Come to find out a younger gentleman has bought Franks Electric Motors and the old grumpy owner is no longer there. This man that currently owns Franks went beyond great service when we took our pool motor in. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The best part was he was extremely nice and helpful. We would highly suggest Franks for your future motor repairs. AWESOME improvement from the previous owners.
Keep up that good attitude and you guys will be very successful.
After this flood I had questions about my electric motors that were submerged. The were very friendly and helpful. They have got my business. Joe Hobson
Recently I had an issue with a pool filter pump, and needed the pump motor repaired. I called these folks who told me how to fix it over the phone, and suggested an $11 part they had in stock. I went by and got the part, and bingo, the $500 pool filter pump was saved and was working perfectly. If you EVER have an issue with a pool pump or other electrical motor in the area take it to Frank's. You and your wallet will be glad you did.
