Came out very quickly for our A/C issue. Said it was the evaporator coil that was bad. $3300.00 repair did it the next day.....about $1500.00 more than quoted from others but that's ok I need it done ASAP. 2 days later A/C not working properly, called they came right out and said it's the motor, ok $850.00 or you can replace the whole system because it's 15 years old and other parts are soon to break down. I just paid $3300.00 for a service and replacement that wasn't the problem. So I agreed to replace the whole system for about $6,000.00 more than quoted by other in the tune of $14,499.00 for a 2000 sq foot home, figured they could get the job done quickly and they did . They did a nice job, except they never put in a filter on the new system. I called 3 TIMES to get someone out to just install a simple filter......something I can do myself but after paying a PREMIUM price I should get a filter........nothing but a complete run around. After 3 days I got the filter! Thanks! They are SUPER EXPENSIVE. Please,take the time and get other quotes!

STAY AWAY!!!

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Friday after 4pm (emergency line hours only) my main waterline burst in my yard; I had a gushing amount of water filling my yard up. I called Frank Gay Services; they took my CC and charged me $130 and said a plumber would be out bw 6pm and 10pm to fix it. I asked them multiple times, is there any way that he does not show up, this is a huge problem, and I need assurance the plumber will be out here asap. They assured me someone would be out there. Not only did they not show up, the delayed me from calling someone else and getting the help I needed.

The plumber never came, I had to call Ferran Services after 10pm and get a plumber out to the house who actually came fairly promptly. I had to pay Ferran emergency services also. It's been over a week, and I still have not got my refund back from Frank Gay. I called Customer Experience to give them constructive feedback, Brianna answered the call in CES and was stand offish and seemed to have very little concern, so I hung up and decided to write this review.

Stay away from this company, those silly ads on the radio are fair warning that you are not working with professionals, and they do not care about their customers.

I called for repair of a circuit breaker that wouldn't reset. The technician who came spent a long time, told me that I had out-of-date breakers and offered to replace the faulty breaker for $360. I asked if it would make sense to replace the entire electric box. At that point, he offered a price of $8000, offered to discount it to $6000 and then told me that he could not replace the faulty breaker, thus trying to force me into getting a replacement box. I finally called another electrician who found that the breaker was not bad--it was the wiring leading to the breaker. He fixed it in a half hour and charged $200. He advised not replacing the box. In other words, Frank Gay Services is out to rip its customers off. Fortunately, I didn't fall for it.

We used Frank Gay electric services out of Lady lake for my elderly parents home that they rent. If I could rate them a zero star I would! It was a 3-week nightmare! Empty promises, overcharged, customer service was horrible, no communication plus the permitting and inspection process was a circus! They failed inspection the first time with five issues. One of them being the main power pole was not grounded! They left huge holes in the walls too, without telling us! I would NEVER recommend this company. Thank goodness my parents had me to advocate for them. I would hate for anyone else to have an experience like we did. Do NOT use this company!

My initial consultation for my a/c, which wasn't cooling, was fine; however the technician needed to make an appointment for me with his supervisor because of the particular complexities of my system install. No problem, right? Well his supervisor, Jonathan (no last name was provided) completely blew off my appointment. Didn't text or phone. I called the office and the person who answered didn't seem to have access to appointment info, but would see what she could do. Next day, Jonathan texted and said he was caught up on a job the other day, but could be at my place in about 40 minutes. I texted as the time approached and asked that he let me know if something came up. You guessed it, he was a no show. So unprofessional. I won't use them ever again and I'll be sure to tell everyone else I know about my experience.

Our AC unit failed while still under warranty on June 9, a Sunday. The contractor who warranted the system would have repaired for free but could not do it until Wednesday. Willing to pay for a repair for faster service, we contacted Frank Gay Services. Their CSR advised that a weekend service call was $129 but would be applied against the cost of the repair. This was a lie. We signed off on almost $300, expecting that included the $129. It didn't. Frank Gay admitted to the bad info from the their CSR but refused to waive the fee. We never received an invoice until we disputed the charge with Visa. Over $400 for a repair that would have been free under warranty had we waited for our regular contractor. Over $400 for a repair we never would have agreed to if we'd known that the weekend fee would not apply to the cost of the bill. $129 that would not have applied had we waited until Monday instead of Sunday. $400+ for a bill that would have been $291 on Monday and $0 on Wednesday. $400+ for a bill we didn't receive it writing until June 24th. And their radio ads are Uber annoying. We feel deceived and ripped off and will never use Frank Gay ever again. GET YOUR QUOTE IN WRITING FOLKS

On August 13, Rachel Olan contacted us to advise that she had reviewed our recorded initial phone call and agreed that the CSR had promised the $129 would be waived; all agents involved would receive remedial training. We received our refund after signing a document promising to revise my review. I don't believe we would have received a refund had we not signed.

We still paid $291 for less than an hour's work to replace a $15 capacitor.

Stay away from this company! Their quality of plumbers and customer service is awful. Had plumber out to install new faucet and fix a running toilet. when he got here he told me about several other things that needed to be fixed and said he could do it all that day. Agreed to most. First off he was to install a pressure valve and spent 4 hours installing on a pipe that is even being used for anything. By then it was dark. He came back the next day and said he needed to install out by the street. 4 hours later after tearing up my lawn he couldn't find the connection, but did break a pipe. I called to take to a supervisor because i was leaving town and worried he messed something up. No one would return my calls. When I returned, I ended up getting someone else from the company to install the faucet and rebuild inside toilet tank. After, the faucet is leaning and he said that's the best he could do. When the toilet is flushed it continues to run. I called them back to have someone fix the running toilet. Had 10-2 timeframe. Had to run out for a minute. At 2:01 I got a notice someone was on the way and a couple minutes later I got a notice I had to reschedule. When I called dispatch they said all they could do is try to get someone to come back. You can never talk to anyone but their call center. Worst service I have ever had from a company!
