My partner has a bad habit of scheduling contractors when I'm home alone, and sometimes that makes me a bit uncomfortable. Not at all with Frank! He's like a big friendly uncle type who treated me with the utmost in respect and professionalism.
After he competed his repairs in a timely manner, he's always been willing to answer questions or give recommendations for other contractors. I only wish all home repair was this easy!

Frank comes highly recommended. His guy rewired 3 pin outlets throughout our new house and installed dimmers. Frank came to check out the job, quoted a very reasonable rate with Yelper discount and brought his guy to do the job a few days later. Job was done in 2 hours, very professional, an electrician you can trust. I recommend highly.

Frank was extremely helpful, thorough, friendly, and patient. He came promptly after I called, explained everything he was doing very clearly, and charged me a very low price.
Highly recommended!

We recently bought an old house in San Francisco which had the same owner since the 1940's and in that time it hasn't had much of anything modernized. The electric panel was installed in 1970 but still had a mere 40A service line from PG&E, which I'm sure was fine in ancient history but meant that the washer, drier, and microwave running at once caused the lights to dim and breakers to trip. We shopped around for options to update the service line and panel on yelp and elsewhere and ended up choosing Frank as his quote was amongst the best and he seemed very knowledgeable about the work to be done.
He got the job done in a timely manner and so far everything seems to have worked out. My only nit-picky complaint is that I believe he has a night job which makes him a bit hard to reach during business hours on week days but he was great at responding in the evenings. I'll definitely use him again when (almost certainly not ""if"") I come across other wiring products I don't believe I can handle on my own.

Frank is more than an electrician--truly a craftsman, given the care and experience he brings to the job. We needed an electrician who could work with us through a long, slow kitchen renovation in a 1920 San Francisco house. We've been at it for more than a year now, and Frank continues to bring his expertise, pleasant nature and flexibility to every task. You can be sure that he's not taking shortcuts or compromising codes. When a hand injury limited the work he could do alone, he began using helpers, and each one has been as pleasant and trustworthy as Frank. He works quickly but also takes the time to get things right, and his charges are very reasonable. He's simply the finest tradesman we've found in San Francisco, and I only wish he were also a plumber.

Scheduled an appointment with him for Monday @ 5. Made special arrangements to have my car down on the peninsula in order to get back to my place from work by 5. He called at 230pm and canceled. Played phone tag for 2 days. We rescheduled for today @ 4. Again made arrangements to work from home so I could be around. I called his cell at 425pm and he had no clue who I was. I told him we had an appointment at 4. He was down on the peninsula. He had completely forgotten. I have plans at 530. Told him not to bother.
If you want someone who values your time enough to not space your appointment twice, I'd move on.

What a total pro! Even though he was very busy, Frank responded promptly to my call for a very small job (install a light switch. and worked very hard to accommodate my busy schedule. We set the appointment, which he confirmed again the night before. His associate Mario came out to do the work (quickly and well!), then Frank followed up with a call later that night to ensure I was happy with the work. Was I ever!

Frank installed an electrical conduit from an outside electrical box to a sprinkler control system. He (and his apprentice) did a clean, quality job that took about an hour. Frank is a nice friendly guy. Despite having a bad day, for reasons I won't get into, he was courteous and professional.
Frank's Yelp fame has made him quite busy so he can be hard to get on short notice. However, my project wasn't urgent so I didn't mind scheduling a week out for him to stop by. I'll definitely use him again for electrical fix it jobs around the house.

Frank was awesome. He was very diligent in figuring out why I had no power in two of my bathrooms. Once the situation was fixed, he explained to me what the problem was in language that I could understand. He even offered to change a light bulb for me without me asking. I would highly recommend him if you have any electrical problems. His rates are less than others that I called. His service was first rate.

In a fit of DIY excitement I bought 2 dimmer switches to install at home. But when I opened up the switch box the wires did not look at all like the ones in the pretty diagram that came with the dimmers. So to avoid potential death from electric shock I called Frank. He talked me through the process and didn't charge a thing. I now have dimmable lights and a completely intact house!
