My house had partial power. Hot day no air conditioning , refrigerator and freezer down , but some lights working. Very odd. I posted a quote request and spent hours calling around - but no availability or guidance.

BUT THEN, I reached Franco and he asked me a few questions , asked me to call ladwp to check for power outages, told me 3 scenarios- 1. Ladwp power line down coming into house , 2 main or panel breaker burned out , 3 a combination of the 3. Franco said check ladwp so I could save money and I did. Ladwp claimed no outage (more on this below). So Franco asked for pictures of the main and panel breakers and immediately reviewed and called me back. Also a video with strange flashing lights on the breakers - didn't see this before !

It was late by then around 6 pm and he arranged to a technician for early 8 am this morning - given the urgency

WELL ... ladwp started sending me texts and calls about an outage and a 4 hour and then 48 hour response time. I thought WOW Franco's telephone assessment may be correct ! Around 12:30 am ladwp showed up (kudos to ladwp) and fixed the outage. I quickly texted Franco even though really late to cancel my appointment which he graciously did

BUT for Franco's expert evaluation and compassion this whole episode would have really aggravating and expensive

SO I offered to pay Franco for his expert opinion but he declined any payment and expressed thanks that my house was up and running

I think everyone has an uncle , friend , etc who is calm, expert , and caring when things breaks down. The go to call in case of emergencies. For me Franco is that kind of GO TO person.

My experience with Franc from Franco's Electrical Services isn't from him actually doing any electrical work for me but rather just customer service over the phone. I had a ton of questions and Franc answered them all. But you know he genuinely cares because he would also ask questions to make sure he completely understands your situation and can provide you with 100% honest answers. At the end, he concluded that I actually didn't need the work and that I was fine as is. He could have easily upsold me and take my money. Instead he was honest with me and won my trust to hire him in the future for any electrical needs. If you're shopping around, give this guy a call and I'm positive you'll be met with the same good old fashion customer service that I had received today.

I needed an EV charger installed and some additional electrical work done for my patio. He was knowledgeable and helpful through email and text messages to help me get my permit submitted.
The recommendations he gave were reasonable and thoughtful to make the installs functional while keeping the space aesthetically the same as before.
His price is fair and lower than other local electricians, he even replaced a broken outlet plate cover without being asked to AND without charge.

My husband needed to install a Nema 14-50 outlet for his Tesla. We got several quotes through yelp for this service, but Frank was the one who got the job done. He is responsive, attentive and extremely knowledgeable in his profession. He answered all of my questions and made us feel at ease. He did an amazing job installing the new outlet and even helped us connect the juicebox charger to it. You won't regret going with Frank. I was trying to replace my ceiling fan by myself but realized that the fan I had bought didn't fit my electrical box as the last time my ceiling fan was replaced was ~20 years ago. I thought I would probably have to replace the electrical box and knew that was way out of my comfort zone for doing by myself so I asked for a quote from Franco's and Frank was very quick to respond with a quote along with what they would have to do in order to fix my problem and install my new ceiling fan. Matt was the electrician that came out to work on the ceiling fan and electrical box, and it turned out that Matt was able to install the ceiling fan by reinforcing the electrical box so no need to replace the electrical box!! Overall both Matt and Frank were great, the service provided by Franco's is absolutely fantastic, and the pricing is reasonable! Definitely will be contacting Franco's again for future electrical work again.
