This is our second new AC. Jupiter-Tequesta did a good job putting it up on our roof this past summer. Beginning in December, when the AC turned to heat for a couple of days, it would cut out, leaving us without heat at night. JT has sent out at least five people at different times to get it ""fixed"". Each time it worked for a short time then the same thing would happen. They did finally get it really fixed. I hope. We just had them come out again to take some things off, for a new roof, and then back on again. They were great and handled a couple of glitches well. Why the five stars? Service and commitment! I felt like I had an army of helpers every time there was an issue. Anyone can put an AC up but, finding a company that stands by its product like JT does, is five stars in my book.

Had my thermostat fixed 14 months ago and the tech said my ductwork needed to be cleaned and a UV light installed to prevent mold. I paid $1,100.00 for the service. Had them back in this week because our unit wasn't cooling and was told we needed a new unit and all new duck work due to mold? Talked to Jason (the Boss) and he was no help at all. I have had multiple issues with my business accounts they service too. Oh well. When they were a small company they were good, Bigger isn't better.

In December 2015 my wife and I decided to replace our air conditioning unit. Having seen Jupiter Tequesta A/c in our community we decided that we would give the business to them, even though they were more expensive than other companies by approximately 15%. When the salesman came out, he sold us a Carrier system. It was supposed to be the best system they install. We agreed to pay $7200 for the system to cool a 2400 square-foot, under A/C, home. Fast forward 24 months later, we noticed that the outside unit was turning on and off rapidly, only running for about 15 to 20 seconds each time before shutting off. It has gradually over the past year gotten louder and louder. We decided to contact Jupiter Tequesta A/C to come out and diagnose the problem. As is always the case, a very nice gentleman came to service our system. The price for the diagnosis was $89, that was charged no matter what. He found that based upon his pressure gauge, there is a leak that developed in this two-year-old system. He stated that the system is under warranty, but the labor is not. I instructed him to go ahead and assess the cost of these repairs and was extremely surprised! The diagnosis for doing a leak test was $500! In addition to the leak test it would be approximately $800 to perform the switch out of whichever component has the leak in it, the inside or the outside portions of the unit. Therefore the charge would be around $1300! Having excellent marketing skills, they offered membership to their exclusive club, you pay $159 for the membership, receive 15% off of the bill. Aggravated with this type of ""We've got the best, you have a warranty, but we don't back our product that ""we"" recommended,"" type of marketing, I decided to contact their office to speak to management. Their slogan is 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Ironically, no one can call me back till Monday. So therefore, the moral of the story is the best marketing, does not make for the best company. I have not received the final solution to these issues as of this time, but I would definitely caution this type of bait and pay later business practice! Meanwhile, we will be with no air-conditioning until Monday.

I am extremely disappointed with the last service visit. I was charged an insanely exorbitant amount ($1,275) for an hour of work and a couple hundred dollars in materials. I reached out to the service tech to get an explanation of the fees, who told me a manager would be calling me. I never heard back from anyone. The charge was outrageous and without explanation. I am also a platinum club member, so the fee could have been even more. I have never felt so ripped off by a vendor. I would never use or recommend your company, and will go out of my way to discredit you with friends and family. This is the first negative review I have ever written about a company. I consider myself pretty easy-going and understanding, but the charge and the subsequent lack of follow up has been a truly horrible experience with a company that has otherwise been very acceptable. I will retract this review if someone calls and at least explains the charges to me.

Whatever you do, do not use this company for anything. I spent $10,768 on a new A/C install and new ductwork, and thousands more to clean up the mess they made. I was lied to by their salesman (Steve Nagy). I was charged for work that wasn't complete. I was promised that the issue would be resolved and then never received any calls. I spent days reviewing quotes and options from various AC companies, but decided to go with the ""big company"" to get what I thought would be a guarantee of service. Nothing they did was up to code. They left holes in my ceiling and exposed flex duct. I paid $475 for a return that was never installed. In fact it was left completely exposed and unfinished in the attic. Even their A/C crew informed me that the company is a fraud and 90% of the customers they deal with are unsatisfied, with most of them being irate.
I guess the one thing they do well is manage their online reputation, because there is no way that they should be averaging 3 stars on any platform with the stories i've heard. I'm looking forward to a response from one of their marketing people, I'm sure it will go something like ""it says in the estimate we are not responsible for refinishing drywall work"". Well it should also say that the sales person has no concept of what is involved with AC installation in an older home and that the ""plan"" will be completely disregarded by the install team.

Jupiter Tequesta installed my AC unit last year in July. I was having my roof replaced and wanted to have them remove my roof mounted model and install the new unit in the garage. They installed the new unit in the middle of my house instead of the garage as requested. There is no scuttle hole or way to get to the unit where it is and to this day I have never seen my AC unit. It has never been inspected as there is no way to reach it. They suggested that I cut a scuttle hole in the middle of my living room ceiling to provide access which is bad enough, but they wanted me to pay for it. Also they cut holes and installed return vents in each bedroom and never installed the grills to cover them. So now I have gaping open holes in each bedroom. I cannot get a call back although I have been very nice and patient. Oh, and did I mention that they charged me 10,200.00 for a 2 ton unit which does not sufficiently cool the house. I am writing this review on the hopes that I can get some action from Jupiter Tequesta. On my next review I will attach pictures.

Have been with Jupiter Tequesta air conditioning for a number of years now and they are always very professional in their approach to maintaining my air conditioner. Their employees are very professional and always make quality recommendations. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional organization to maintain their air-conditioner.

Listen, these guys get an A on personality and professionalism.
I bought 2 Daikin units based on their recommendations. In the beginning the installation and process seemed pretty good. Then my problems started. One unit stopped cooling and I was told that I needed a new line set because my original was leaking freon (piping from outside unit to indoor unit). I my case this was had two stories away. Not included in job estimate. $1000
and 3 months later, not cooling again. So now I'm into this job $13,000. They added coolant and advised to wait to see what happens and if stops cooling again will do a special test requiring shutting the unit down for 3 days. Test results showed the leak was in the coil in the inside air handler...""warranty item"" not the line set I paid $1k for. ughh
Now I'm advised part not in stock so I waited several days for part from Texas but they did put it in quickly. While this analysis was goin on, their rep realized installers had "" too many line bends in this unit which would cause problems down the road.
So he rectified it.
Shortly after, their electrician looks at the job and tells his supervisor that the electrical work they performed was not up to code. Supervisor instructed tech to fix it at no charge. great but fix required replacement of two new circuit breaker. Only one on the truck. I run to Home Depot for the other. They don't have any. Job left up to me responsible for buying and installing the new code required circuit breaker.
God knows the condition what the other unit was left in.
Other concerns...I was called to schedule job after job was complete? Left messages for service manager who claims he didn't get them?
I don't know call me crazy...give these guys a great rating..personality and professional yes. Ability no!
Check out so many other AC guys. They're a dime a dozen all advertising to be something special..pretty trucks, great sales pitch. Low on ability.
What's in you're wallet?
BTW...did I mention we are Senior citizens?

Following Hurricane Irma, I called to have my AC unit looked at. I was told the main board and fan had burned out. I was told it would probably be several thousand dollars. That I should call my insurance company and see if they would pay for a new one.
Thankfully, my nephew suggested that I get another opinion, which I did. The HVAC technician walked to the breaker box flipped the GFI pump switch and the AC is working perfectly. Do I ever feel duped by Jupiter-Tequesta. It isn't even the fact that I paid them $89.00 for nothing. It is the fact that their HVAN tech didn't even try to solve my problem. All he wanted to do was sell me on a new unit. Shame on this company. If the technicians were not paid by commission they might be more willing to work for a dollar.
I know they have a contract with Home Depot. So every time I see someone talking to the salesman there I will share my story. Then we will be even.

The guys who put in the air conditioning left cigarette buts and other small things on the floor which I had to clean, scratched the walls, and made a dent in one of the other walls, make sure to send other guys, if we get you back.
