Established in 1983 as Jupiter-Tequesta, we've evolved into FPL Home Services. Each service we provide is guaranteed to adhere to necessary safety and building codes. Our service area Lee, Sarasota, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties, serving a total number of 70,000 residents. FPL Home Services is fully licensed, insured. We hold licenses: CFC1430331, CAC 1820030 and EC13007891.

We called them on a Saturday when our unit was not running and we had guests for the week. The technician came out and told us we needed a new unit. My brother-in-law is an electrician and was very pleased with the choices they gave us. We chose the Daikin, which is not even available for residential use in the state where my brother in law lived. The guy came out on a weekend day, took a look, and gave us a price. l. They came out and did a really good job.
The only issue was we financed it for 18 months, 0% interest but the application was never submitted. I had to call 3 times and email once before I finally got a return phone call. We were just trying to pay the bill! The installation was in June and we didn't have a bill until August and that was after I called the bank where we financed. They had sent it to the wrong address and it was returned. All in all, we like Jupiter-Tequesta very much and will use them in the future.
Love Jupiter/Tequesta AC. Sedrick was wonderful, he checked everything out, explained everything, cleaned up everything and even wore coverup slip on when walking on the carpet. He also called to let me know he was on his way and when I could expect him. I would rate my experience as excellent. Nice, polite, experienced young man.
Tina W.Just had the most amazing service professional at our rental unit. James T came to investigate why our ac unit was leaking. He explained that he had cleared the condensate line and that the unit was low on freon. After attempting to charge it, James showed me why the outside unit was not holding the charge. The AC unit is 11 years old and the condenser was leaking. James showed me what was going on, where the damage was and explained the options of fixing versus replacing the unit. Sure did we want to buy an a AC unit? Not really, however I felt confident that this was right decision and cost effective for the future. James informed me about different AC units, rebates, service warranties and pricing. James is a young man, with professionalism and maturity beyond his years. Soft spoken, intelligent and doing his job with great pride. He spoke highly of the company he works for which made me feel even better about doing business with Jupiter Tequesta AC. The lady who rents this unit was also so pleased and surprised by the level of professionalism of James.
We have used this company before and continue to be amazed by their service professionals. Not to mention they have 24 hour service and also deal with electrical and plumbing issues. I'm a fan!
Absolutely Awful! Their electrians' incompetence cost me DOUBLE to undo JUST TO PASS A SIMPLE INSPECTION. Their manager was NEVER able to send anyone from their staff to fix the mess their original electricIan did. Never even was able to complete the job! Awful! If there was the ability to put zero stars... I would!

Just transferred my Service contract to Jupiter-Tequesta Air Conditioning. Wendell P. one of the company's Maintenance & Repair Men completed my first Tune-up and Inspection. I was very impressed! Wendell, arrived on time, was friendly, courteous, thorough, and very professional. He showed me a problem with the system and took the time to explain my options and answered all my questions. He was straight forward but not pushy. After 15 years with another Jupiter Air Conditioning Company I'm glad I made the switch to Jupiter-Tequesta Air Conditioning.
Walter P.I have mixed feelings (their service was efficient) now regarding their 'Diagnostic fee $89'. My A/C suddenly stopped cooling so I called to get an estimate on what the issue might be? Freon/Faulty unit etc... my appt was from 3-5pm, the tech arrived 3:30pm and made it's Diagnostic, as per him nothing found A/C running fine (poss loose wire) whatever that means. So I paid the $89, next I arrive from my office @ 5pm to find the house warm. I call back a 2nd time and they send another tech who finds the issue/s (faulty capacitor/seizing fan) Here is my disappointment - since I had to call a 2nd time in a matter of hours from the 1st diagnostic- wouldn't it make perfect business sense to the consumer to include $89 to the repair bill $666 which I authorized into the final amount? I'm just saying - where's the customer service in all of this? I called to express my discontent and all I got was 'so sorry' the fee is standard. Please note I was contemplating joining there membership program until this billing issue occurred.
Lastly revisiting their website it says 'For Fast Service and A Free Estimate Contact Us Today'???.
Very Dissappointing. Had Jupiter Tequesta come out to see why my AC was not working. I had to go to work so I arranged a window of 3p-5p when a 10a-noon window was available. I received a call from Tim (the tech) at 1pm telling me that he was ""here"". I informed him that our window was from 3p-5p and I was not available yet. He stated, ""well I'm here now"". I told him where he could find the compressor and blower and that he could take a look now and I would try to leave early. 45 Minutes later Tim calls me, says, ""I got it up and running but you really need a new one"". Ok I say. ""What's a new one run?"" ""$6200, $6400, or $8200"" depending on which one you get and which efficiency you want but today's service is free if you buy one."" he says... Then I ask, ""what do I owe you for today?"" ""$475"" he says. Mind you he has been at the house for 45 minutes...... I say you've been there less than an hour, how do you come to nearly $500?"", ""Well I had to re-wire the unit and add freon and its's $90 for the service call."" Then he went into high pressure on buying a new one. I felt completely uncomfortable with these strong sales tactics. and told him I'd let him know on the new one. He asked who he should collect nearly $500 from and I asked him to bill me. At no point did he get approval for repairs or anything, this was a calculated way to commit me to purchasing a new unit or getting an outrageous fee for the repair. Reading there, mostly positive reviews on Google, I called the owner/manager of the company three times but have not been contacted back. The next few days, I received multiple bids, one from Dana's, one from Air Xperts, and one other (I can't remember the name). A comparable one to the $6,200 one that Jupiter Tequesta tried to get me to buy was spec's by Dana's at about ~$4,700, the one I can't remember ~$3,800 and Air Xperts ~$3600.
My AC system was replaced but not by Jupiter Tequesta. They clearly have a huge marketing budget and it's funded by the heavy sales tactics, I'd stay away.
We had a maintenance agreement and found out that this Company had not even visited our properties over a 2 year period. Our air-conditioning units as a result were in very poor condition and took extensive cost to repair. We do not trust this Company.
